Hello Kate, yes so I would do 2 highlight to 1 lowlight and do medium to fine weave for softness and blending. Also take in consideration hair density and hair texture (fine,medium) that way you can decide how thick your weave is going to be.
Hi, two reasons. But for the video as you know is hard to get close with the foil on a mannequin, so my foils were slipping. But i don’t go close to the scalp with the lighter because lighters swelled and you end up with bleeders and or when you fold your foil it could end up pushing the lighter to the scalp and again get bleeders. You always want to leave a bit of room. Hope this helps.

Yes of course. You can customized it. Play with it. Thats the fun of it ☺️ but yes bigger subsections more dimensional look you will get (less blonde)

Why don't you bring the lightener to the root on the sides?

How long does this application usually take you?
It depends on how fast you are at foiling. I am a slow foiler, I would say it takes me 1hr.
