FC 25 has been the most fun I've had with Career Mode in a long time! I really hope EA addresses these bugs and continue to roll out consistent squad updates. Some other bugs/missing features that I've noticed: 1) The game often crashes during press conferences where you can't select an answer, forcing you to quit. 2) Checkpoint saves are completely broken. You can't even load FC 25 if you create one, and autosave seems to overwrite saves even when turned off. 3) You can't edit player positions in default formations (like CDM to CM or LM to LW in 4-2-3-1). 4) No way to track player rating growth over a season, at least as far as I know. 5) You don't receive important notifications, like when you get a transfer offer.
3) You can't edit player positions at all, because that's not how FC IQ works, it's data base and AI trained, so I can understand they removed this, since if you could customise tactical positions, it would probably break the whole game. 5) That's not true at all, I agree that the new task system can be annoying, but you still receive e-mail notifications for everything. The annoying thing is, often there is so much in the task section, that you don'T see you got new e-mails. It's a weird system because in some ways it feels like task are meant to replace e-mails, but the way they did, it looks like this awkward shortcut summary of important things. It's useful, it's a good idea, but the way they did it is a bit awkward.

@@felity1773 you haven't even played the game. All games have bugs, these are minor compared to past games. FC 25 is easily the best since FIFA 12. All other modern FIFA games are trash compared to 25, the unrealistic online-driven gameplay ruins them, especially the terrible implementation of hypermotion in FIFA 21-24, no mod can save them, I'm never going back to those, and you won't either when you stop being so obtuse and actually play 25, believe me, it's a huge step forward.
Number three. Yes. I agree. Let me move around the players the way I want to play. If I want to play a narrow 4-3-3 then let me. It’s early days so hopefully a patch will fix it.
Another bug I have found is that sometimes I just can't change the menu? Like, I could be stuck on the team management page and see at the top that I am switching to the home page or transfer or whatever, but I just stay stuck at the team management. I then have to click on someone to view in the squad hub or so, then the menu works again.

A big one for me is centre backs losing fitness rapidly during matches and not recovering for the next match despite their training plan being “all out fitness” or whatever it’s called
Yep stamina is broke af lmao. Wingers and defenders are absolutely dying towards the end of games and In my current save I’m having to rest Zhegrova, Nakamura, Guehi and Branthwaite for two games after every game they play

I hate how you can’t manually change a players position by pressing x and moving them around like in fc24. Also can’t tell wingers or strikers to come back and defend when you try to park the bus is really frustrating to me
Agreed, now you have to change formation and then it resets all the player roles. Finding it easier to just play players out of position rather than deal with micromanaging everything every time I want to change one players position.

One annoying bug I found was when you click to view the youth academy or the monthly youth reports, the game menu freezes and you have to reboot the game

Player Career mode is a struggle to play currently because of the second man press glitch. Your AI Teammates 9 times out of 10 will just let the opponent AI dribbled past them like they’re a training cone, and if you try a second man press your Player is basically uncontrollable.
How about the visual look of a lot of the youth academy players? Some just look outright silly and resemble edited pro clubs avatars. A lot of the faces just don’t look real. I prefer how the old youth academy player faces were.
That's always been an issue though. In 23 my winger were never above 60-70 pace and if they were their dribbling was then almost always around 30-50 range.

AI transfers won’t get fixed. We’ll continue to see clubs forfeit games because their only keeper is injured or on international duty, and we’ll see 90 rated players stay at second division clubs their whole career. I think the cause of this issue is regens going to the free agent pool, and clubs not signing them. By season 3 or 4 there are thousands of free agents, and clubs only have minimum squad requirements and therefore can’t sell players.
They need to let us edit youth players using the new cranium technology, image the faces you could make. People have been asking for more customisation in career mode and they just dont listen
This game has lots of potential .. But these things are just so silly .. Also, player career mode starting at 75ovr for base in some of the beginnings is so painful .. I wish FIFA had an NBA 2k stat builder .. You design how the player will look stat-wise in the beginning, choosing the highest level any stat can become

Even getting a copy for PS4 was a hassle for me, many places don't even stock it not even Amazon except individual sellers asking double face value. Ended up getting one at Best Buy. Walmart had it but was sold out. Game Stop doesn't even stock it. Went through all the trouble, dumped $70 plus tax, and the game ends up being rubbish anyways. Not like I'm surprised, guess I'm just a masochist because I knew it would be bad but bought it anyways 😂

For me the youth academy bug is game breaking, developing players is a key aspect of the gamemode, its just not fun without it. I hope they fix that soon because currently, I cant play that mode, its bothering me too much.
It's ironic because that was supposed to be the big focus this year and they messed it up the most. Or maybe that's why it's so bad because they made the most changes there and broke things in the process.

Unreal the amount of bugs in this game, so frustrating and im actually tempted to go back to the old fifa but on PC and mod the new kits in and players because this is absolutely awful
The game is alright. Some things are fun, other are okay. Gameplay is absolutely horrible and I hate it so much that I just can't play it for long. I hate the changes they've made to it. Things like a pass over 3m goes to an opponent 15m away as the player the game wanted to pass to is behind that opponent. It's so ridiculous. The defenders are always quicker than some of the fastest players in the game (e.g. Adeyemi can never outrun a defender). The players are often in the wrong position with 2-3 players in like 1-3m². It's stupid, it's insane. It is bad gameplay.
Idk if it’s just bc my players are low rating but when doing a ground pass, almost 30% of the time it’s slightly popped off the ground and in the air. I hate it. It’s extremely annoying to lose the ball from ground passes that are randomly lobbed
One thing that always used to help the problem with AI defence always being faster than your players is to nerf the AI acceleration by a couple units on the sliders. Apparently, at least in the old games, the player with the ball is always limited to 50 acceleration no matter what his actual stats are, making it easier for defenders to catch them. Dialing down the AI acceleration a couple notches helps at least.
The Youth Academy players all seem to have fairly low defensive awareness, like 20-30, even if they're listed as a defender. I've found that about 80% of the ones I've had scouted are better off as CAM or a winger, regardless of their starting position 🫤
I read a theory about the clubs preset scout instructions potentially being the issue for ai transfers as they only buy players from those scouting instructions. Hence the reason why they buy the same players each save, and a few years into the save, they have so many players in one position and none in the other.
The promotion and relegation in the first few seasons seems bang on. In season 3, the Prem have the same teams as this season apart from Burnley swapping with Everton.
I had so much hope and there still is hope once the bugs are patched. I stopped playing the game until these are patched because it is unplayable when youth academy is such a important aspect in career mode
There was a similar bug last year with GK Positioning nearly always way too low. I hope they fix it asap, because its hard to start a proper CM if they don't.
Gameplay is the worst ever as well. Your defenders aren’t defending anything on their own and opponents can just walk right past them everytime and whenever a striker runs past your defence you can never catch them (doesn’t matter if you’re van de ven and the striker is Chris Wood) because the acceleration (R2) doesn’t seem to work or make any difference at all. Every EA game gets playable only after about 6-7months after release and that should basically be criminal (to sell something for a premium that has so many flaws).
The worst glitch I've come across is in my LFC women's save. The slavia prague mens team was drawn into my group lol. Also there seems to be a problem with skipping the walkout intro. I skipped it as the line up graphic was on the screen and the graphic got stuck. I actually played the match since it was pretty funny playing with the entire center of the screen blocked out lol.
the youth bugs will get reworked, thats on hold for me until its fixed. Having a blast with a proper realistic rebuild in low leagues without any youth academy though
Player Career starting stats if you don't choose one of the three "stories". If you choose custom or clean slate, your player's stats will vary slightly for physical stats depending on your height and weight but the technical stats are 75 for everything regardless of position meaning you get a ST work 75 defending and goalkeeping stats.

There are couple more bugs. When you signed contract with a national team, there is no place to call up the national team squad. You can not choose players that you want to call up for the squad. Also there is a bug under edit player section on manager career mode. If you want to go to the “gloves” section, and choose “none” option your player will be wearing that gloves either you chose the none. When you go the youth team scout section there is a glitch that the menu collapses and you have to quit and re-enter the career mode if you want to see the menu again..
I hate the fact that EA still hasn't updated the youth player name pool. Imagine scouting in Kenya/Tanzania and every player has the same surname: Hassan. I honestly regret buying this game on PS5 because on PC you can modify the name pool.
I played with barcelona and the players can’t even play the same formation that they do in real life… why can’t pedri play as a defensive midfielder when hes play that position in real life
I also think they need to update youth player names too, some countries you scout only come up with a couple of different names that don't fit with that culture. More variety in youth player names need to be added or maybe even an option to customize youth player names. Which would be pretty cool.
My two saves have been ruined by a game breaking bug where every youth academy player I promoted loses there potential to at club since even if it’s way more than 80+ Can anybody help?
That's not a game breaking bug. I don't know for sure, but this could be intentional, and it has always been this way that the potential prediction in the youth team is not accurate, maybe its based on the scout, and if he doesn't have good judgement it won't be accurate?
@@RuuyG in the youth academy I had a player with 92-94 potential I promoted him and he then had a max of 80 potential so it seems like a bug It’s pretty gamebreaking for me because I play youth academy career modes and it’s happened to every player in every save

I don't know about this year, but, in past versions players would only get the tags "showing great potential" and so on when they were above 60 overall
My most annoying is not getting notifications about things to do with transfers. In fact the windows on the whole feel less important this year for some reason.
Moving around career mode options is so laggy it’s annoying and I noticed I don’t get any notifications for transfers even tho I have it set ‘stop for all’. Scouting players is annoying this year too, just doesn’t help the game mode is laggy. Takes forever to move onto games
One huge one you're missing is that if you do a foul near the centre of the pitch, occasionally the ref gives a penalty kick (maybe instead of giving a red card??). It has happened twice for me. Both times tactical fouls
There is definitely something wrong with real managers. I started following a couple of career modes on TH-cam, and the guys had the same issue you had. Their real managers would have their hair drastically switched for a random one. I was also testing some aspects this morning, I chose Fiorentina and decided to use the real manager Raffaele Palladino (whose face looks great with cranium btw). Once I selected him and went to edit his attire, his face completely changed. I hope they can fix it soon. The first update is already taking too long if you ask me. Or maybe is just me dying to start my first serious save😅. Hope it is because they will address plenty of these issues.

you need to let them in the youth team for a while until their potential is refined. if you move them to the main squad as soon as you scout them the potential is variable
Also there is not a single Player Development training that targets penalty or free kicks. At least not from what i've seen, i did just skim over all the positions but i'm pretty sure i didn't see any position train in those two areas.
The wages are ridiculous in career at the moment I’m with Doncaster in league 2 and every player is on over 10k a week. I also tried loaning a 57 overall striker from Newcastle and he wanted 25k a week 🤣
I’ve seen in press conferences cutscenes, that the reporter will talk about a random player who isn’t in my team. sometimes i feel like fc 24 and fc 25 were made too quickly, almost as if EA didnt complete the game

kind of an out of context question but : i saw you did a video where you simulate 100seasons, well i did the same with my career mode but i had a bug with the contracts, all of my players contracts would not go past 2047, did you have the same problem ?
Im canadian and my Youth acadamy is always in constant search of 90+ potential canadian prospects in each position. Someone at EA was having a laugh this year. They all look incredibly ridiculous and have embarrassing running styles. It's killing me. I hate it.
Playing pure manage mode, and watch my games on tactile mode, and I’ve noticed CAM players soon as they get the ball retreat to their own defence or goalkeeper with the ball, even if not being closed down.
Im having issues on career mode that when i get an offer it dosent tell me and then all of a sudden i get a email saying offer withdrawn but i never even got told about the offer
I've found the most trouble with the youth academy, it's funny because they brought in such great features such as the youth tournaments and the many new nations you can scout, but so many things have been going wrong that didn't in previous games. I think most people have already seen the stats the youth players have such as the extremely low heading, but I've also found that the potential of youth players is much lower, and it is quite hard to find high potential players. Is that just me? or has anyone else found that the 70-94 kind of potential is much more rare? (TBF My experience is a smallish sample size, I haven't tried scouting heaps and heaps.
For me overall most Frustrating thing is referee, yellow card when im not even touching opponent or no foul when it obvious one. At this moment for me game is unplayable i wanna have fun nor frustration.
I'm finding the AI tactics to be not necessarily bugged, but certainly out of whack to say the least. If you set it to tactical they are overly aggressive and just foul your players the whole game and press their whole team upfield, but if you set it to custom they are overly passive and just stand around and you can just dribble past their whole team and score like 7-8 goals per game. Once again EA, how about a happy medium?
We have reached a point where no one should pre-order the game anymore, since it is only really enjoyable after 1 or 2 months and 1 or 2 updates. If players keep pre-ordering, €A will keep releasing a half finished game every year.

Positions change don’t work well either. I’m trying to get a player that can only play on the wings but it still has the full back role that it did before and it doesn’t go away, also why can’t I just remove those other positions?
i definitely had a worse one than any of those. When buying a new player by first offering massively below value and then meeting in the middle which is still below what the scouts are recommending, the player got transfered to my club, one of my good players got transfered to the other club and a player from a random club with about the same ovr as my (former) player gets added to my club. It's wild. And I don't know if that happened to anybody else. Couldn't find anything.
How can I enjoy a £70 game when I can’t change my team no matter what I do! Example change a starting 11 player with a reserve player. I will select a player to change when selected it won’t change. What’s the FXXXing point. Didn’t have this trouble for the last week and only been a problem for a day.

I’ve liked the inclusion of women career mode but a bug they need to fix is free agency it is so difficult to sign free agents in career mostly because they ask for extremely high wages. Like for my best player gets paid 3k who is 78 rated but I was wanted to sign a 73 rated player and she asked 8k.
Dunno if its the same everywhere, but in Player Career, my AI teammates NEVER defend and I mean NEVER....they will just run at the side of the attacker or back peddle if infront, they never stick their leg out......the only way the ball gets taken is if the attacker walks into them (which is also another old FIFA bug)..... Also goalkeeper diving is absolutely ridiculous in this game and looks very glitchy. I went top right when goalie was already preparing to crouch and he just spring boarded up and saved my shot.
Honestly every other bug to me is a small issue… the main issue to me is still AI/CPU transfers… like if you are not going to fix the transfers algorithm… then at least open up a “club transfers” option like FIFER realism mod so we can manually fix teams ourselves. It’s still incredibly frustrating to me how we still need mods for a simple function… this is so simple to add to career mode EA.
It’s so funny how much hate nba 2k gets online but it’s career is miles better than fifa, you can control multiple clubs force transfer, change attributes etc even change touches and shot tendency’s which id love in fifa. It’s an offline game but you still can’t edit freely!

I still can't change a player on international duty before i start a game. I have to go all the way back to the main menu and do it through the team management tab. Was the same last year.
I'm not able to play a full champions league game due to the game showing me just the playing field after the first half... If i then just sim to result i get stuck on the blue "champions league" screen and i cannot do anything except for force-shutting down the game. I really hope this will get fixed soon..
Some coaches face change at the start of career mode when you decide to edit their outfit, pre installed gloves do not come off of them if you save an edit on them. Intros show players on wrong positions during the graphics card showing where they are positioned. So many bugs. Also, how Does Alphonso Davies not outrun a single player on this game? He's top fastest in the Bundesliga.

One annoying bug I found was when you click to view the youth academy or the monthly youth reports, the game menu freezes and you have to reboot the game
Quick fix I found out* click L2/LT to access the quick menu and scroll to transfer hub and click it. That will unfreeze the menu. Hope this helps bro

Youth player names have been such a mess for ages, just scouted players from Kenya and Tanzania and they all had just one surname: Hassan 😂😂
Player Career mode is a struggle to play currently because of the second man press glitch. Your AI Teammates 9 times out of 10 will just let the opponent AI dribbled past them like they’re a training cone, and if you try a second man press your Player is basically uncontrollable.
For me in career mode my players just stand still and watch when I have to defend so it’s always a 1v6 lol
How about the visual look of a lot of the youth academy players?
Some just look outright silly and resemble edited pro clubs avatars. A lot of the faces just don’t look real.

That's always been an issue though. In 23 my winger were never above 60-70 pace and if they were their dribbling was then almost always around 30-50 range.

AI transfers won’t get fixed. We’ll continue to see clubs forfeit games because their only keeper is injured or on international duty, and we’ll see 90 rated players stay at second division clubs their whole career. I think the cause of this issue is regens going to the free agent pool, and clubs not signing them. By season 3 or 4 there are thousands of free agents, and clubs only have minimum squad requirements and therefore can’t sell players.
They need to let us edit youth players using the new cranium technology, image the faces you could make. People have been asking for more customisation in career mode and they just dont listen
This game has lots of potential .. But these things are just so silly .. Also, player career mode starting at 75ovr for base in some of the beginnings is so painful .. I wish FIFA had an NBA 2k stat builder .. You design how the player will look stat-wise in the beginning, choosing the highest level any stat can become

Even getting a copy for PS4 was a hassle for me, many places don't even stock it not even Amazon except individual sellers asking double face value. Ended up getting one at Best Buy. Walmart had it but was sold out. Game Stop doesn't even stock it. Went through all the trouble, dumped $70 plus tax, and the game ends up being rubbish anyways. Not like I'm surprised, guess I'm just a masochist because I knew it would be bad but bought it anyways 😂

For me the youth academy bug is game breaking, developing players is a key aspect of the gamemode, its just not fun without it. I hope they fix that soon because currently, I cant play that mode, its bothering me too much.

Unreal the amount of bugs in this game, so frustrating and im actually tempted to go back to the old fifa but on PC and mod the new kits in and players because this is absolutely awful
The game is alright. Some things are fun, other are okay. Gameplay is absolutely horrible and I hate it so much that I just can't play it for long. I hate the changes they've made to it. Things like a pass over 3m goes to an opponent 15m away as the player the game wanted to pass to is behind that opponent. It's so ridiculous. The defenders are always quicker than some of the fastest players in the game (e.g. Adeyemi can never outrun a defender). The players are often in the wrong position with 2-3 players in like 1-3m². It's stupid, it's insane. It is bad gameplay.
Idk if it’s just bc my players are low rating but when doing a ground pass, almost 30% of the time it’s slightly popped off the ground and in the air. I hate it. It’s extremely annoying to lose the ball from ground passes that are randomly lobbed
One thing that always used to help the problem with AI defence always being faster than your players is to nerf the AI acceleration by a couple units on the sliders. Apparently, at least in the old games, the player with the ball is always limited to 50 acceleration no matter what his actual stats are, making it easier for defenders to catch them. Dialing down the AI acceleration a couple notches helps at least.
AI squad building is vital for career mode to function properly. Save your money if you're an offline player.
The atrocious youth academy player faces is the biggest issue for me
The Youth Academy players all seem to have fairly low defensive awareness, like 20-30, even if they're listed as a defender. I've found that about 80% of the ones I've had scouted are better off as CAM or a winger, regardless of their starting position 🫤
It is understood that there may be bugs in the game. But some of the existing bugs should be unacceptable for a game that costs you at least €80

I read a theory about the clubs preset scout instructions potentially being the issue for ai transfers as they only buy players from those scouting instructions. Hence the reason why they buy the same players each save, and a few years into the save, they have so many players in one position and none in the other.

The promotion and relegation in the first few seasons seems bang on. In season 3, the Prem have the same teams as this season apart from Burnley swapping with Everton.

I had so much hope and there still is hope once the bugs are patched. I stopped playing the game until these are patched because it is unplayable when youth academy is such a important aspect in career mode
There was a similar bug last year with GK Positioning nearly always way too low. I hope they fix it asap, because its hard to start a proper CM if they don't.
Gameplay is the worst ever as well. Your defenders aren’t defending anything on their own and opponents can just walk right past them everytime and whenever a striker runs past your defence you can never catch them (doesn’t matter if you’re van de ven and the striker is Chris Wood) because the acceleration (R2) doesn’t seem to work or make any difference at all. Every EA game gets playable only after about 6-7months after release and that should basically be criminal (to sell something for a premium that has so many flaws).
The worst glitch I've come across is in my LFC women's save. The slavia prague mens team was drawn into my group lol. Also there seems to be a problem with skipping the walkout intro. I skipped it as the line up graphic was on the screen and the graphic got stuck. I actually played the match since it was pretty funny playing with the entire center of the screen blocked out lol.
the youth bugs will get reworked, thats on hold for me until its fixed. Having a blast with a proper realistic rebuild in low leagues without any youth academy though
Player Career starting stats if you don't choose one of the three "stories". If you choose custom or clean slate, your player's stats will vary slightly for physical stats depending on your height and weight but the technical stats are 75 for everything regardless of position meaning you get a ST work 75 defending and goalkeeping stats.

There are couple more bugs. When you signed contract with a national team, there is no place to call up the national team squad. You can not choose players that you want to call up for the squad. Also there is a bug under edit player section on manager career mode. If you want to go to the “gloves” section, and choose “none” option your player will be wearing that gloves either you chose the none. When you go the youth team scout section there is a glitch that the menu collapses and you have to quit and re-enter the career mode if you want to see the menu again..
I hate the fact that EA still hasn't updated the youth player name pool. Imagine scouting in Kenya/Tanzania and every player has the same surname: Hassan. I honestly regret buying this game on PS5 because on PC you can modify the name pool.
I played with barcelona and the players can’t even play the same formation that they do in real life… why can’t pedri play as a defensive midfielder when hes play that position in real life

I also think they need to update youth player names too, some countries you scout only come up with a couple of different names that don't fit with that culture. More variety in youth player names need to be added or maybe even an option to customize youth player names. Which would be pretty cool.

That's not a game breaking bug. I don't know for sure, but this could be intentional, and it has always been this way that the potential prediction in the youth team is not accurate, maybe its based on the scout, and if he doesn't have good judgement it won't be accurate?

I don't know about this year, but, in past versions players would only get the tags "showing great potential" and so on when they were above 60 overall

My most annoying is not getting notifications about things to do with transfers. In fact the windows on the whole feel less important this year for some reason.
Moving around career mode options is so laggy it’s annoying and I noticed I don’t get any notifications for transfers even tho I have it set ‘stop for all’. Scouting players is annoying this year too, just doesn’t help the game mode is laggy. Takes forever to move onto games

One huge one you're missing is that if you do a foul near the centre of the pitch, occasionally the ref gives a penalty kick (maybe instead of giving a red card??). It has happened twice for me. Both times tactical fouls
There is definitely something wrong with real managers. I started following a couple of career modes on TH-cam, and the guys had the same issue you had. Their real managers would have their hair drastically switched for a random one. I was also testing some aspects this morning, I chose Fiorentina and decided to use the real manager Raffaele Palladino (whose face looks great with cranium btw). Once I selected him and went to edit his attire, his face completely changed. I hope they can fix it soon. The first update is already taking too long if you ask me. Or maybe is just me dying to start my first serious save😅. Hope it is because they will address plenty of these issues.
Keeps happening to me, it's so frustrating, completely ruins the save for me.

i get a bug where players in my youth academy will have 92-94 potential but then when i promote them to the senior squad their status says “at club since” which is more important and actually reflects their potential. the number or the status?
you need to let them in the youth team for a while until their potential is refined. if you move them to the main squad as soon as you scout them the potential is variable
Also there is not a single Player Development training that targets penalty or free kicks.
At least not from what i've seen, i did just skim over all the positions but i'm pretty sure i didn't see
any position train in those two areas.

kind of an out of context question but : i saw you did a video where you simulate 100seasons, well i did the same with my career mode but i had a bug with the contracts, all of my players contracts would not go past 2047, did you have the same problem ?

Someone at EA was having a laugh this year. They all look incredibly ridiculous and have embarrassing running styles. It's killing me. I hate it.
Playing pure manage mode, and watch my games on tactile mode, and I’ve noticed CAM players soon as they get the ball retreat to their own defence or goalkeeper with the ball, even if not being closed down.
Manager Career Mode Objective bugged, says to play 5 matches and ive played more than that and still havent gotten my SP
Im having issues on career mode that when i get an offer it dosent tell me and then all of a sudden i get a email saying offer withdrawn but i never even got told about the offer
I've found the most trouble with the youth academy, it's funny because they brought in such great features such as the youth tournaments and the many new nations you can scout, but so many things have been going wrong that didn't in previous games.
I think most people have already seen the stats the youth players have such as the extremely low heading, but I've also found that the potential of youth players is much lower, and it is quite hard to find high potential players.
Is that just me? or has anyone else found that the 70-94 kind of potential is much more rare?
(TBF My experience is a smallish sample size, I haven't tried scouting heaps and heaps.
For me overall most Frustrating thing is referee, yellow card when im not even touching opponent or no foul when it obvious one. At this moment for me game is unplayable i wanna have fun nor frustration.
This. And red cards for soft fouls all the time while AI rugby tackles you and doesn't even get a telling off.

I'm finding the AI tactics to be not necessarily bugged, but certainly out of whack to say the least. If you set it to tactical they are overly aggressive and just foul your players the whole game and press their whole team upfield, but if you set it to custom they are overly passive and just stand around and you can just dribble past their whole team and score like 7-8 goals per game. Once again EA, how about a happy medium?
We have reached a point where no one should pre-order the game anymore, since it is only really enjoyable after 1 or 2 months and 1 or 2 updates. If players keep pre-ordering, €A will keep releasing a half finished game every year.

Positions change don’t work well either. I’m trying to get a player that can only play on the wings but it still has the full back role that it did before and it doesn’t go away, also why can’t I just remove those other positions?
i definitely had a worse one than any of those. When buying a new player by first offering massively below value and then meeting in the middle which is still below what the scouts are recommending, the player got transfered to my club, one of my good players got transfered to the other club and a player from a random club with about the same ovr as my (former) player gets added to my club. It's wild. And I don't know if that happened to anybody else. Couldn't find anything.
How can I enjoy a £70 game when I can’t change my team no matter what I do! Example change a starting 11 player with a reserve player. I will select a player to change when selected it won’t change. What’s the FXXXing point. Didn’t have this trouble for the last week and only been a problem for a day.

Not really a terrible bug there is a lot worse you can just run through him so it dosent affect the game too much but i hopefully it still gets fixed

I get annoyed by the fact that if you disable the first transfer window, your team captain still complains about the lack of signings.
On settings I disabled all transfers before the season started and every single team is making huge transfers. is anyone else having this problem?
I’ve liked the inclusion of women career mode but a bug they need to fix is free agency it is so difficult to sign free agents in career mostly because they ask for extremely high wages. Like for my best player gets paid 3k who is 78 rated but I was wanted to sign a 73 rated player and she asked 8k.

Dunno if its the same everywhere, but in Player Career, my AI teammates NEVER defend and I mean NEVER....they will just run at the side of the attacker or back peddle if infront, they never stick their leg out......the only way the ball gets taken is if the attacker walks into them (which is also another old FIFA bug).....
Also goalkeeper diving is absolutely ridiculous in this game and looks very glitchy. I went top right when goalie was already preparing to crouch and he just spring boarded up and saved my shot.
In player carrer it's a common thing that has been in the game for a long time
Your only hope is to hold the press button and hope for the best

Honestly every other bug to me is a small issue… the main issue to me is still AI/CPU transfers… like if you are not going to fix the transfers algorithm… then at least open up a “club transfers” option like FIFER realism mod so we can manually fix teams ourselves.
It’s still incredibly frustrating to me how we still need mods for a simple function… this is so simple to add to career mode EA.
It’s so funny how much hate nba 2k gets online but it’s career is miles better than fifa, you can control multiple clubs force transfer, change attributes etc even change touches and shot tendency’s which id love in fifa. It’s an offline game but you still can’t edit freely!

I'm not able to play a full champions league game due to the game showing me just the playing field after the first half...
If i then just sim to result i get stuck on the blue "champions league" screen and i cannot do anything except for force-shutting down the game.

Some coaches face change at the start of career mode when you decide to edit their outfit, pre installed gloves do not come off of them if you save an edit on them. Intros show players on wrong positions during the graphics card showing where they are positioned. So many bugs. Also, how Does Alphonso Davies not outrun a single player on this game? He's top fastest in the Bundesliga.
