thanks for sharing. It was very helpful. I'm servicing my daughter's Nissan with a CVT transmission. They should have really made this easier to do. I did take off the wheel well cover to get the bottom bolts, and took off the battery tray to get to the top bolts. I used Amsoil CVT fluid too. Based on reviews of others, it seems to be the best available stuff on the market.
You’re welcome, thank you for watching! I agree, I think that’s why these never get the filters changed. I’m gonna look into that amsoil. The stuff I got is all autozone had so I went with it but I like amsoil products too
@@T-MillProductions I saw a testimonial of a guy who put 1.4 million miles on a late 90s chevy van, saying it still shifted smooth. he used Amsoil Transmission fluid from 60,000 miles on. Then I saw some DIY guys on youtube swearing by it, so I started checking it out. It seems to be engineered a grade above the rest of the field.
I can believe that man. I have 256k miles on my 2008 ford edge and I just use cheap Walmart fluids in it and it works perfect, so I can totally believe with a top notch fluid like amsoil, people can get a lot of life out of their cars
I went through the wheel well when I changed my 2009 transmission fluid and filters. I think it's easier than pulling the battery tray and going that way. My 2009 is very rusty on the frame also. I'm going to treat it with Ospho rust treatment. It will kill rust and have it ready to paint over in 24 hours. Thanks for the video!
Thanks for the positive feedback! How hard was it to go thru the wheel well? I wondered if that would be easier. I noticed that was a potential way of doing it after I did it my way lol
