      Well that Naim Uniti Atom is not in any way can be considered budget, but it is a fantastic all in one system. Or maybe I misunderstood you. :D That was my personal experience, if it is different then yours... well that happens, but I am super glad you enjoy them and find them good value.

    I had my Q Acoustics 3020i and had them since 2020 and there is superior instrument separation over the worn-out Bose Model 601s and does not give me listeners fatigue. However, I might jump to the Concept 500s or at least a concept 50. My vintage Pioneer A-9 stereo integrated receiver prefers dual 6-inch to dual 7-inch floor-standing speakers and 10 to 12-inch stand-mount speakers because it overdrives my 3020is.

      Well Concept 500 and even 50 is a serious jump from 3020i which are budget speakers. Did you maybe consider trying Q Acoustics 5040 or 5050? I am not saying they are better it is just a more reasonable jump. Having 110W is great, it is a massive power, but it is not something that will overpower them. And than you save some money for better amps. or sources, even for future upgrades when you get familiar even more with Q more advanced lineup. :) It is just that i look everything through value and experience. Are you that certain that Q Acoustics sound fit your needs so much, that you are ready to right away jump to such a premium speakers.

    Is 3020i or 5020 better bookshelf speaker?

      5020, but they are more expensive. 5020 has more depth, details nd bass. One thing that firmly goes in direction of 3020, is how easy it is to be driven and paired with other equipment. With more balanced and warm sound.

      A bit off topic, but I like to see the Bauhaus stairway from Oskar Schlemmer on the wall behind you. Great taste and also a great review. Thanks.

    I have seen you have Lumina IIs standing next to QA 5020s! Can you please compare these two pairs? I have them both available at around the same price but I have no way of hearing them before the purchase. What would be your choice? Thank you!

      Well regarding sonus faber you can watch my review of them, or my list if fav speakers under 1000. But they are completely different speakers to each other. To me sonus faber images so well and have this really rich mid withya lot of details. Bass is also more warm and bigger. But q acoustic have better treble, and is more clean and transperant of two. It is also more punchy with more verve. I really like both of them, my Favorite is more sonus faber, but sometimes when i need more energy from my music I would go with q acoustics as they are in that regard a bit more fun. Hope this helps.

    Thanks for the great review , which of the four would you prefer for low level listening and mainly off axis listening . I prefer “lively and punchy “ speakers but most of the day, music is played when we move around and not sitting for listening . Would you prefer the Bowers, the monitor audio , the Dali or the Q ?

    • @HIFIDaydreaming
      @HIFIDaydreaming  3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Theoretically Bowers and Q should work better for lower volume, as it have similar sensitivity of 88db. I have not tested all this, but on paper they should. I would choose between those two for that, now the question is Bowers are little bit more lively and punchy than Q Acoustics, who is also punchy but a bit more balanced. You should demo those two and choose which sound is for you more. But also consider two more thing and that is soundstage, out of all this 4 Dali have the bigger soundstage, it throws bigger dispersion and reach. Now that should not be the key if you personally love more punchy sound, but it is something to consider. And other is usually Focals are low level kings, so maybe consider Focal Aria X No`1 or Chora 806(now called Theva).

      @@HIFIDaydreaming thanks for the detailed answer! Between the the Q , bowers and Dali, do you major difference in off axis performance as we are usually not sitting to listen on purpose but more just playing all day in the background . Also I prefer vocal and guitars and instruments ( trumpet etc) that are forward and textured . Low level bass is not important for us but more into the punch of the bass

      Thanks man, and thank you for watching my review! I used to have both of Bauhaus Stairway by Oscar Schlemmer and by Roy Lichtenstein at my wall. But I had to put some sound treatments at those walls, so now Oscars work is part of scenery of my reviews.
