I finally decided to make a digital thumbnail for the video! I took the original picture from the video itself and then digitalized it. I've wanted to change the thumbnail to a digital or a coloured one ever since I uploaded this, and after over a year, I finally managed to do it, whoop! (Also, thank you for 2.4K views!)
January 2019:
Hi! Thank you to everyone who has watched and liked this video. It blows my mind that over 1,700 people have seen this! I've seen a couple of questions about the characters, and I decided to explain here so people in the future can also be clear about them.
The characters in the video are Mabel and Gideon, not Mabel and Dipper. In the Gravity Rises AU, Mabel and Gideon are a huge ship. I'll leave a link to a video explaining the AU generally, and also the link to the fanfiction that eventually inspired me to make this.
My plan originally was to colour this with markers like I did with my "The Jam Song" video, but that one was only three pages long. This one took me 17 pages and 5 days (where two were a weekend) only to do the sketch, and because I was soon leaving on a trip with my family, I decided not to colour this. From that, I understand how you might confuse Gideon with Dipper, especially those who are only used to the chubby Gideon, as seen on the show or in the Reverse Falls AU.
