I live in eagle Idaho, and I ride on hulls gulch all the time! One of my favorite trails. The very rocky part you pointed out we call the “mangler” because a lot of skin has been lost on those rocks😂

Love it- makes me homesick for Boise! I used to live on Warms Springs, and rode from my front door to Hulls Gulch all the time. Also up BB road to Corrals. Crestline has changed a lot, but I still recognize it! Try a night ride some day. Crestline is like another planet at night.

@INGSOC Job situation vs education level. Boise wages were way behind other states, even considering cost of living.I was tired of warehouse work, and so was my spine. I joined the air force, went to school up in WA and settled in Oregon.

Boise and all of Idaho is a shit hole compared to Oregon and Washington

It’s been about 5 years and I’m curious, have you cleaned the Hulls rock yet?
I remember watching this 4 years ago and not knowing what to expect. When I first came up to the rock, I remembered your video. I walked it, made a plan, and then cleaned it trials style, hopping and zig zagging across it. I entered the left line at top, across to the right on first ledge, then back across to the left on the second ledge, then off). That was on my rigid fat bike. Came back another time on my full suspension trail bike and again took the left line, but monster trucked straight down the left side. Ended in a little accidental nose manual at the bottom, but rode it out clean. Love riding that trail. The rest of it is so flowy and fun on a good day. 🤘

Pretty cool video, if you had more travel and a full suspension bike, that one rocky section you pointed out would be way more manageable.

We rode that rock section all of the time on our hard tails.. been almost 20 years though😂 full squish is much appreciated now. Actually have a picture of that rock section hanging in my shop. Love it

KyleTVProductions - Boise is very bike friendly, actually, it's just plain very friendly. Some areas do have bike lanes, and lost of both paved bike oaths and mtb trails too. I've been there twice, it's a great town.
