My grandfather passed away on October 28th 2018. I had to attend his funeral on my birthday the 1st of November. I was extremely close with him and this song got me through the holiday season and coping with his passing. I come back every year to listen to this to be reminded of him and how much he loved the holidays. It's a personal and favorite Christmas song for me for that very reason.

I always listen to this song at Christmas, I always liked it, but as it talks about people in heaven, that part never made much sense. Last year my son passed away and I wasn't able to celebrate Christmas. This year we are able to celebrate again and this song embraced my heart. Thanks guys.
