Hello thanks for your question. Most orthopedic implants are made from nonferromagnetic materials and, therefore, tend to be acceptable for patients undergoing MRI examinations. It is always best to advise your radiology provider of any previous surgeries and if you have metal pins, screws, plates, stents, or surgical staples so they can determine if an MRI is safe for you.

    this post is such bullshit.
It doesn’t actually tell anyone what to expect when they get an MRI. it is highly stylized and also highly deceptive.
The authors of this video should be ashamed of themselves. it doesn’t actually tell anyone what to expect when they get an MRI.

Hi @melissakozlaregulski5719 thanks for sharing your feedback. Please note this video is not intended to address what to expect when you get an MRI. It simply some background on the common injuries of the foot and ankle, along with the value of MRI and an imaging technique to diagnose these injuries/conditions. For information on what to expect during an MRI, please watch this video, th-cam.com/video/so_sL74ihPs/w-d-xo.htmlsi=1LjP6pAh3lQPWo02
