Okay so. Just some tips from a leopardgecko owner. 1. The minimum size for leopardgeckos is 40 gallons I belive so your tank is way too small especially for two. 2. they Need at least two hides per gecko so in your case you would need four. Two on the warm side and two on the cold side. 3. They do the best on a 50/50 soil/sand mix so they can actually dig etc. 4. normally you shouldn’t cohabitate leopardgeckos since they’re actually solitary animals but since they’ve been together for such a long time I think it’s okay. All in all the cage is maybe a 3/10. I can tell that you love your animals so I’m begging you to do more research and give them the best homes possible.

I don’t recommend sand or loose substrate because of compaction (when they ingest it and it gets stuck) and just a digging hide like a cut out hole you can put a ramp to in a plastic Tupperware if they don’t have problems with compaction but I recommend carpet or tile I only recommend carpet because if you can’t afford tile you can get carpet and it works almost as good Edit: I have a gecko in a 50 gallon one hide on each side with carpet a heat pad and a strong ubv heat lamp not like a normal heat light it is a ubv that also provides heat for your reptile and a few decorations she climbs on and scratches on
@@ridageckoguy3094 loose substrate is completely fine if you use the right one. Bioactive enclosures are the best option for any type of reptile. Carpet is one of the worst options since their nails can get stuck in it and fingers can get ripped of bc of it.
@@ridageckoguy3094 kittyspets is right about the substrate. A suitable loose substrate (ie a soil/sand mix) is much better for them than carpet. The carpet is actually really bad for them. It’s holds in too much bacteria. All in all carpet just isn’t the best option. You could do non adhesive shelf liner or tile
A suitable loose substrate such as a soil/playsand or soil/sand/clay mix is best, digging enrichment is very beneficial for them. You’re right about the carpet though.
ok so do you have a probe for the heat mat and do you have a digital thermometer with a probe cause i dont wanna spend extra money on the one im getting
Heat mats are not a good heat source, overhead heating is much better for them. A halogen flood bulb connected to a dimmer/dimming thermostat is the most natural and beneficial option, Arcadia’s deep heat projector is the second best option. They produce infrared A and B like the sun, heat that penetrates deep into the skin tissue and heats them far more effectively than heat mats. Whereas heat mats only produce IRC, which only heats the surface of their skin. As well as the dimmer/thermostat (for regulating the temperature), you need a temperature gun for measuring surface temps and ideally a digital thermometer/hygrometer combo for measuring ambient temps and humidity.
If you're going to cohab leopard gecko's then they need a minimum of 120 gallons per gecko. You did not do your research. this kit is horrible and you're going to end up with serious problems later on with your geckos. this is so sad to see. Poor babys 😔
I know he did not just say “40 gallons is way too big for them so we’re downgrading them to a 20 gallon.” Boy give me those geckos I have a few empty 40’s to spare. 😂
Just a tiny heating pad isn’t enough but sure just keep being a bad example. Not to forget, you better have a temperature controller for the heating pad
I get why he down graded cus the 40 gallon was old and they get along very well and they sleep together so really no point of the space in the 40 gallon
Do your research I cannot believe you just said that a 40 gallon tank is too big for a leopard gecko 20 is the size for one male adult I am on leopard geckos in a 51 gallon tank call that big
Dislike&Unsubscribed! Do not put leopard gecko's in the same habitat, although it could work if the enclosure is very big. or else they will injure and even kill eachother! Obivously this guy in the video has no knowledge of leopard gecko's(Even tho he owns then for over 10 years!) 20 Gallon is the BARE minimum for 1 Leopard Gecko! i would get a bigger one even. And its not ''fertiled'' its ''fertilised''. Also that tail you said she has been born with, its not true. she dropped it and regrew it. How come you still haven't researched that one animal you have over 10 years? like i said Dislike&Unsubscribed!
You should keep the old 50 gallon tank for these two. As everyone already says in the comments, this tank is way too small for 1 gecko, and you will have two in there. Switch back to the old tank. They will not be happier in this tank. It can never be too big for an adult leopard gecko. Please do more research before breeding your geckos.. The male should only be in the tank as long as mating is going on. When they are done, the male should be moved from the tank so that he does not stress the female.
They seem chill. Now how about some updates on the seahorses, the yellowbellies, the mata mata, the sideneck, the snapping turtle, the albino tanks, the scorpion/stone fish, the octopus babies, the tiny emperor snapper, the sailfin snapper, the scrawled filefish, the bamboo sharks, the blueline grouper, the damselfish, the cleaner shrimp, the stingray, the anemone, the sea urchin, the red fire fish, the purple fire fish, the clownfish, the blue crawfish tank,, the purple dottyback, the hammerhead coral and lets not forget the waterdog and the skate. Some of them haven't been seen in over a year
@@bernardoknox7273 oh, sorry about the confusion. Sadly, I don't think any updates on the smaller tanks will come. Only the large tank. I personally think that most of his animals don't live that long considering he can keep making new tanks and capturing new fish.
Love the vid but, for 2 leo's you need a 40 gallon as it is the perfect amount of space for them i would recommend 3 hides each but five in your case because they can share a humid hide because they will most likely not be shedding at the same time. so 3 hides each because you need one hot one cool and one humid with moss in there Not paper towels and the best substrate for them is terra sahara as it is meant for leo's
A 40 gallon is the recommended size for one leopard gecko, it is not big enough to safely cohab two. A soil/playsand mix would also be cheaper than terra Sahara.
‼️TIPS‼️ If you could I would add just one more hide 🙈 for those cute little leos. Another thing to us that cactus 🌵 is FILTHY. Definitely want to clean that and otherwise the tank looks awesome bro 🦎‼️
Not to hate but I just don’t understand how you could take an animal that would typically live in the wild and then call a 40 gallon tank for it “too big.” You obviously have the money to give them a better life/habitat than what you’re providing them and if the maintenance being easier to you is your main priority over giving them the best habitat/life maybe don’t own them? I thought this was going to be a cool upgraded tank for them but overall it was a downgrade and sadly disappointing.
Not being a Karen but leopard geckos need a 40 gallon and I just mean for one yes that cage size could include cohabitation but I keep my leo in a 50 gallon and don’t cohab her so I suggest a bigger tank than forty gallons because a twenty gallon is in my eyes too small for one I had my gecko in a twenty gallon for five years and she began walk surfing at year five and now she doesn’t wall surf and just explores and loves it
I'm sure it's quick and easy to brush off comments you get on your videos daily as just hate... But it seems like almost all of your videos I've watched... The comment section is actually people who just want to see you do the best you can for your animals. ESPECIALLY if you have a younger following. 20 gallons for 2 geckos is like PetSmart selling fish bowls and marketing them as a life long home for a fish... Before you put yourself out here on the internet, do some damn research. It's not hard and believe it or not it would be to not only your benefit (because that's what you seem to put first) but also your animals. It's not hate dude. It's facts. Facts that you should know if you're putting info out here like this.
Did the albino drop its tail? (Also I recommend for at least 1 leopard gecko you need 20 gallon (at least) and let them hide more and add a loose substrate
! SERVING IS NOT THRIVING ! 3/10, They need bigger tanks. And AT LEAST! 3 hides, Warm, Humid, and Cool. You shouldn't cohabitate. 20 Gallons is minimum for 1 singular Leopard Gecko I've also heard reptile carpet isn't good. It holds bacteria, their little nails can also get stuck in it. (Use Paper Towels, Newspaper, Tile, or Substrate (Just do your research on the brand of Substrate) I have 2 Leopard Geckos. 1 Male and 1 Female, The Male is in a 25 Gallon tank while the female is in a 20 gallon. I use Paper Towels as their substrate, they have 3-4 hides in each tank. (I've had them for almost 2 years, but I've watched tons and tons of videos on them, and I still frequently watch videos just to make sure I have everything perfect for them.)
If you expect updates I’d suggest looking for a different channel to follow. Usually things end up being dead and he just acts like it never happened. He did do an update one time on a guitarfish he caught, it died after a day because he had no idea how to take care of it not that he even tried (no quarantine etc). He ended up deleting the video the same evening because it wasn’t getting likes and positive feedback🤣
I don’t quite understand why you downgraded it to a 20 gallon, 20 gallon is bear minimum for one adult, then when you cohabit them they need even more space, that 40-50 ish gallon tank was perfect for them, if anything I would’ve re styled the tank if the old look got too old on me, leopard geckos walk around a lot especially at night, so especially when you downgrade them from that there not gonna understand why they can’t walk further because they was already used to the bigger tank anyways. I have a leopard gecko of my own when I first bought him he was in a 10 gallon but that didn’t last too long because a week later I got a 40 gallon set up for him, I almost got a 20 gallon long but I decided seems how much he likes to move around I just went with the 40 gallon instead, haven’t seen him tank serf sense I got him the new 40 gallon, I’d honestly be surprised if yours didn’t tank serf in the new tank considering they was used to the bigger tank for so long and because there’s two of them, I already don’t recommend cohabiting them, but especially in a 20 gallon I’d never dare cohabit two because there already probably somewhat territorial then in a smaller space makes them even more territorial over one another so at that point you’re possibly risking issues with one gecko getting all the food nutrients and the other being malnourished because the one dominated over the other I’ve personally witnessed this happening and it’s not a pretty thing to see. So personally I wouldn’t have done it this way, and if you ask anyone else who has enough experience they probably wouldn’t approve of it either.
Glad to see most of the comments are people with a brain that still works properly

20 gallon is the MINIMUM for ONE. Please have them in a 40 gallon at least. That small of a tank will stress them out.
40 gallons is not big enough to safely cohab, it’s the recommended size for one.
Looks awesome bro!🦎
ok so do you have a probe for the heat mat and do you have a digital thermometer with a probe cause i dont wanna spend extra money on the one im getting
@@nightinggale6470 ok thank you and do you know where to get a temp gun or thermostat or dimmer
@@oogalb1 all of them can be bought online, from Amazon or other sites.
sad.. do some research.
My leopard geckos are 17 years old.had then since they were a baby
That tank is way to small and needs more hides and the heat mat is not gonna give them the right heat
Something funny is I just got this same kit today before seeing this vid 😂
If you're going to cohab leopard gecko's then they need a minimum of 120 gallons per gecko. You did not do your research. this kit is horrible and you're going to end up with serious problems later on with your geckos. this is so sad to see. Poor babys 😔
Belly is draggin on em😂
Little cute gecko
wow thanks for sharing!
I know he did not just say “40 gallons is way too big for them so we’re downgrading them to a 20 gallon.” Boy give me those geckos I have a few empty 40’s to spare. 😂
20 gallon is the minimum for 1 so you need a 40 gallon ready do your research
40 gallons is not big enough to safely cohab two.
I’d say like a 70 for two
Just a tiny heating pad isn’t enough but sure just keep being a bad example. Not to forget, you better have a temperature controller for the heating pad
i love this comment ^
I’m lost at all your recent videos because money doesn’t buy things…knowledge does. You need knowledge on your team
Nice bro big respect for keeping them for more then 10yrs
I get why he down graded cus the 40 gallon was old and they get along very well and they sleep together so really no point of the space in the 40 gallon
this Terrarium is shit. in every. search in Google for Leopardgecko Terrarium.
you will see that this is nothing
One thing I love about leopard geckos is they are very clean animals/eating their shed skin
Do your research I cannot believe you just said that a 40 gallon tank is too big for a leopard gecko 20 is the size for one male adult I am on leopard geckos in a 51 gallon tank call that big
Pretty dope you know you can use door liner
Dislike&Unsubscribed!
Do not put leopard gecko's in the same habitat, although it could work if the enclosure is very big. or else they will injure and even kill eachother!
Obivously this guy in the video has no knowledge of leopard gecko's(Even tho he owns then for over 10 years!)
20 Gallon is the BARE minimum for 1 Leopard Gecko! i would get a bigger one even.
And its not ''fertiled'' its ''fertilised''.
Also that tail you said she has been born with, its not true. she dropped it and regrew it.
How come you still haven't researched that one animal you have over 10 years? like i said Dislike&Unsubscribed!
What ever happened to the mini fish pond
Which one? He usually replaces the one he had after all the fish died again
Nice terrarium, I have one made of furniture board.
BRO GET A ECLIPSE SNOW the busy would be dope
Some of them haven't been seen in over a year
the skate is dead, he made a post about it.
@@bernardoknox7273 huh, didn't delete anything. MY comment about the skate is still theree
do you mean edit, because I made a grammatical mistake on it
@@bernardoknox7273 oh, sorry about the confusion. Sadly, I don't think any updates on the smaller tanks will come. Only the large tank. I personally think that most of his animals don't live that long considering he can keep making new tanks and capturing new fish.
cant make an uodate when its dead
Do you change that bottom mat weekly to clean pee and poop? Thanks.
Your gecko wasn’t born with that tail she must have lost it to me shaped like that
The eggs look fine
One leopard gecko needs 40 and you just put 2 in a 20 gallon .also reptile carpet is ass
@@nightinggale6470 yea that's exactly what i use a bioactive eco earth play sand for my leos and beardies
@@NixonReed I recommend using soil instead of eco earth. Eco earth is unnatural, doesn’t support plants, etc.
‼️TIPS‼️
If you could I would add just one more hide 🙈 for those cute little leos. Another thing to us that cactus 🌵 is FILTHY. Definitely want to clean that and otherwise the tank looks awesome bro 🦎‼️
A 20 gallon is FOR 1 adult leopard gecko and 2 are in the 20 gallon
*dope gecko*
How is blue dye in pond doing
I juat wanna ask, where do u get the cage cause it looks pretty nice with the sliding door in front
The cage is likely bought straight from PetSmart. I wouldn’t recommend supporting them though.
Hi nick can you soon post a new vid on the 6000G saltwater pond and this vidio is amazing
Coming very soon!!
@Nick Bingo ok thank you and will it be transferring the fish because I saw some of the fish on the Instagram story
We're did You Buy it
Not to hate but I just don’t understand how you could take an animal that would typically live in the wild and then call a 40 gallon tank for it “too big.” You obviously have the money to give them a better life/habitat than what you’re providing them and if the maintenance being easier to you is your main priority over giving them the best habitat/life maybe don’t own them? I thought this was going to be a cool upgraded tank for them but overall it was a downgrade and sadly disappointing.
amen
Great geckos!!!!
I love his His Chinese croc lizards too ! Bad ass
Nice!
23 comment Nick bingo is the best and the greatest TH-camr ever I always enjoy your amazing videos bro keep it up 💯💪👍👍👍💪💯💯💪👍👍
Not being a Karen but leopard geckos need a 40 gallon and I just mean for one yes that cage size could include cohabitation but I keep my leo in a 50 gallon and don’t cohab her so I suggest a bigger tank than forty gallons because a twenty gallon is in my eyes too small for one I had my gecko in a twenty gallon for five years and she began walk surfing at year five and now she doesn’t wall surf and just explores and loves it
nothing Karen about that! you speak the truth!
Thanks
Thanks
Needs some more features. Maybe some vegetation?
Please do some proper research. These poor babies have been living in the wrong conditions for so long. 40 gallons is way better than 20.
I love it nick⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️🔥🔥🔥🔥
Hi Nik can I keep my Leopard gecko in my 25 gallon tank that was a fish tank at ferst
Nope. 25 gallon is too small. You should aim for 40 or bigger, leopard geckos will use any space you give them.
The bigger the better
It is unstimulating in every way, small and unlivable even for a gecko.
What about the Bonnie head shark?
Did the albino drop its tail? (Also I recommend for at least 1 leopard gecko you need 20 gallon (at least) and let them hide more and add a loose substrate
6:12 i think it was great 8/10 2- because the water and food thing
! SERVING IS NOT THRIVING !
3/10, They need bigger tanks. And AT LEAST! 3 hides, Warm, Humid, and Cool.
You shouldn't cohabitate.
20 Gallons is minimum for 1 singular Leopard Gecko
I've also heard reptile carpet isn't good. It holds bacteria, their little nails can also get stuck in it.
(Use Paper Towels, Newspaper, Tile, or Substrate (Just do your research on the brand of Substrate)
I have 2 Leopard Geckos.
I’m thinking, got bored alone man!
Just found your channel and watched your encounter the police but can't find an update on the outcome of your court date
Can't believe in the time I've subscribed I've watched you grow a beard lol
Can we see the octopus eggs/babies?
Most excited thing I’m hyped for is the new 5,600 gallon salt water pond
I have great ideas for that! Wanna plan it with me in the comments and submit our ideas to Nick?
@@theallusechannel i mean sure
@@goblinslayer1115 I'm making a list already on the 6000 gallon saltwater pond video, check it out
Just posted the comment
@@theallusechannel where is it?
How did she lay eggs without a male???? Please tell me
Leopard geckos can lay infertile eggs without a male, just like chickens.
You should get a boy gecko
Looks good to me Nick.
