I love that moment of Anakin and R2-D2 just sitting together watching the sea and ships of Corellia for 30 minutes. Very tranquil moment.
I gotta say, the way you write Padme easily makes you one of my favorite Star Wars fanfic youtubers out there. You write Anakin and Padme’s relationship with a level of maturity I haven’t seen anywhere else, and Padme always feels like her own person with agency.

What if Quinlan Voss was the jedi who discovered Anakin and brought him to the temple?
What if Palpatine legally adopted Anakin?
What if plagueis survived palpatines attack, pretending to play dead?
What if the republic and separatists discovered that the star forge had been rebuilt?
What if Mace waited for Yoda's return from the planet of the wookies before arresting Palpatine?
Two ways that would have gone down:
1. Order 66 is initiated anyways and the Jedi are killed.
2. Yoda and Windu stomp Palpatine and the Jedi are saved.
@@factfiend1000 well if he initiated order 66 while mace and the other jedi waited for yoda to return he wouldn't be able to keep control of the senate because the senate would see the republic executing the Jedi with no possible reason that is why palps waited for the jedi to come to arrest him/attack him so he could execute order 66

At the end when discussing this type of story or the crazy lightsaber battles i feel like it depends on the title of the video i like both types but for this video this type of storyline was perfect makes way more sense even though we know anakin to rage and tap into the dark side when hes angry like after padmes death that makes but for this shes still alive he still loves her but jus not with him anymore so he has a broken heart not a broken heart of losing everything because of his actions and hating himself for it everything is still alive which was perfect for anakin to grow and learn to let go of it as it would be harder to let go of someone who is dead

Honestly, this was beautiful
I adore this kind of vulnerability in stories, thats also why aotc is my favorite of the saga. Imo this what if really pulls you along emotionally and Anakin's friendships along with his outlook on the situation are really healthy and especially human, which makes the whole watching experience really comfortable. As you said in the ending, you could have easily gone for spectacle and have him go mad, but that would have been an infinitely worse story
You described every piece of scenery beautifully, every hurtful emotion and miserable action, but also the positivity of improving and keeping your head up in bad situations
I don't think we'll ever see a story like the beginning of this video in star wars and that's understandable, both because it's mainly for kids and because that's just very hard to write, but this very real situation blends in seamlessly with the star wars galaxy here and I think thats really impressive
I like the ending of the story more though, with the grandiosity of the saga catching up and Anakin trusting Windu.
That ending speech may have made me cry a little ,_,
