I'm a big fan of the cheap / home-made Buddy Stove (AKA the Hobo stove) for fire starting. It's an empty tuna can with rolled up cardboard bits and filled with melted wax. Works great and you can extinguish it and reuse it.
I ordered the Klein screwdriver off Amazon about 6 months ago and they sent me 3,, Gave one as a gift. There well made and very handy with the different lengths..

Instead of wasting another match, you should have just lit the wood left on the first match using one of the wicks that was already burning to light the last wick of the 2nd candle... just to conserve.
