To think that Liam O'Brain's voice was just that good - To the point where they used it for this version of Asura. No hate on the other VA, they definitely put their whole heart into it, and you can tell - But Liam's voice is like smooth sandpaper, if that makes sense. Calm and flowing one moment, absolutely grating and angry the very next.
The initial scream is done by Hiroki Yasumoto, I wonder if they didn't have him record more screams to use for the aftermath due to health reasons or just changed their approach with Liam. Regardless they both did their absolute best.
She was hardly disposable. She was a reminder to Asura of what he lost, and helped keep him focused through the beginning of the game. Her death caused Asura to tap into a power not even he knew he had, and caused Yasha to have doubts about "The Cause". She was a catalyst for the final parts of the game.
If it’s so great then why did the company use the English voice actor screams instead of the Japanese voice actor Liam O’ Brian did such a good job they use his scream for the Japanese voice acting

Liam’s screams at the end brought tears to my eyes, can just feel the despair in them.

I prefer the English screams of asura in his base form. I know his berserk form uses the English version in both languages.
