Fishing in a Tropical Storm! Fishing HIGH WATER for Bass and Panfish

- Today I am fishing in a tropical storm here in Tennessee. I'm fishing the high water for bass and panfish. I start out fishing in the morning rain using a lipless crankbait and a ned rig, but I don't get any bites. I pick it back up a few hours later while there is a break in the rain. This is when I start catching fish! I catch a king sized shellcracker on a Ned Rig! I also catch a nice sized bass on a hail Mary attempt with the Strike King Red Eyed Shad. The water levels are up in Tennessee due to the hurricane, and the fishing seems to be improving! #realistic #fishing

👍🏻😎 Glad you guys missed the worst of the storm. Eastern Tennessee wasn't so lucky.
Thanks for hanging out in the tropical storm and sharing your experience. Multi species makes for a great day. KiR!!!
What a shellcracker! Glad you could get out there despite the storm
Making the best of bad weather. Keep it Realistic!
Nice to see your catching fish again.Keep the faith they will be back.
Listening to Ozzy and watching fishing videos. Life is good. 👍😃
Beautiful colors on the fish. And clean and bright. Hope guys are doing well in Lebenon.
Loving the fall fishing bite, much better than the dog days of summer. Thanks for the feature! Keep it realistic
Woooooooooooo weeeeeeeeeeee what a Shellcracker Alex!!! Absolute MONSTER!!!!
The ned rig has quickly become a go-to for me. As you showed, it can catch big and small and works in nearly every situation.
Howdy Alex, best of fortune bestowed upon you and you whole house. Thank you for playing outside always always!! That was a slammer of a sunfish NFA! KIR.
KIR!
Definitely looks like it ended up being a good fishin trip despite the rain. Amazing catches and a great way to end the day with a bass on the lipless crank bait. Thank you for always keeping it realistic Alex!
Crazy weather. Eastern TN and west NC were hit hard.ill be keeping all those affected in my prayers
WHOA! that lake improved fast! hope the next tropical system comes this way.. we expect 90 degrees weather again.. Summer just won't shove off..
That shellcracker was a monster. Lots of species in this video. Love to see it. Tropical storm seems to be getting the fish a little hungry and aggressive.
Nice catches ! We have almost a full pool in my fisheries from all the hurricane rain, and also, the fall bite is on. The Ned Rig was fire for me over the weekend. Awesome video ! That huge shellcracker, though, dang !
Looks like they liked that small minnow bait. Keep It Realistic.
That's definitely a great way to welcome rain. Congrats
Nice bass Dave. KIR!
Check out how high that water is, hopefully some fish want to make an appearance!
Thank you, always happy to keep it realistic. This rain didn’t stop me, and it didn’t stop Alex either. Keep it realistic!
Good to hear you're safe. That water level is wild. Sometimes that makes for interesting structure by the shore.
That turned out really good, and O-boy, that was a Big-ol Shellcracker, then finish with that nice Bass, good thing you went back. I do like fishing flood conditions.
Love those surprise catches.
Great way to take a break from everything going on in the world recently!
That shellcracker was massive.. You'd almost want to eat it but sendinf it back to make monster babies was the best bet...
KIR Alex...
Way to go, Alex! That was a huge shellcracker!
Another good day Alex. I sincerely hope that your area missed out on the damage, as that storm was definitely Realistic.
My lake was still two feet down today, and bite was horrible..
Maybe all this water will make its way down there
WOW my friend Alex you have one holy moly day today God bless 🙏♥️
Talk about an epic conclusion! Congratulations! 🎣💪
Nice flood fish!
Stay safe!
And KIR!
That was a great catch, that's one of the fish on my bucket list
I am glad you are alright Alex
Very nice Alex! Great job! Keeping it realistic!

I caught a monster musky up here in Ohio shallow in weather just like this
Nice Shellcracker
Hope everything is good where you live. Stay safe during the storm

Amazing session 🎣
Good trip Alex!
Wow nice Alex nice, be safe
nice fish, stay safe and dry. KIR
Glad the water level is back up. Glad you didnt get the insane flooding thats not that far east of you. Footage of it is sad.
It's been raining here for 6 days now..
Cool episode!
Good fish man, I'm still hesitant to go fishing now that it's fall, hopefully the bite picks up. 👍
We got rain up here in Missouri too.
That fish looks like a crappie.😊
Last video the water was down low
Yep, 2 days later... flooded
Nice bass at the end! I haven’t caught anything with my lipless crankbait yet 😢
Nice car
Hi Realistic Fishing! 4:30 Is that a New Personal Best Shellcraker? I’m just wondering.
Also, concluded my salmon season with another Chinook. That buck put up one heck of a sick fight. Oh well, back to my local lake and pikes are next.
So glad to hear you are doing ok. Do Shell Crackers taste similar to Crappie or more like bass?
More like bluegill 👍

No fishing in Virginia just flooding and no power.
Alex long time subscriber here, i am totally new to pass fishing. I usually serve fish with circle hooks. Where are the hooks walk? The fish basically set the hook by itself so this is sounds like a stupid question, do you try to set the hook on the very first little tap of the rod? When you're trying to set the hook??
If anyone has any suggestions please post?
Thx in advance
Sorry for not spell checking lol
Glad you are safe as well my friend
🏆 I am, thanks!
"loud and proud",,,,, sounds like my ex-wife!
The loud part is my current wife!
Anyone know the setup he's running?
