- Thank you all for watching my tribute video to my beautiful mum, and for your endless and astounding love, support & patience during my first 6 weeks without her. She was so grateful to each & every one of you for the love you show me and my family and I know she's joining in with us all watching this video, somewhere, with her tea & biscuits (or latte & flapjack as it was, in her case).

How can people dislike this video, I cried the whole way through, the poor girl just lost her mum, give her a break. I’ve watched your journey over the years and I knew she was getting worse but my heart broke when I saw this video pop up 😓 lots of love to you and your family 💞
They will hit dislike as a sign of disliking the reason why this video was made. As in they dislike the fact that she died. They aren’t disliking the video, they are disliking that a young girl has to go through this.
This really makes me realise how lucky i am to have my mam. 5 years ago my mam was diagnosed with a brain tumour but fortunately survived and got the all clear but it was the scariest time of my life. From my experience i still can’t imagine the pain your going through and have had to go through for so long. Stay strong, you are brave and she will be so proud of you💗

Finally got round to watching this just now. Literally wiping my mascara off from underneath my eyes. Oh elle, we don't know you but I'm sure I speak for everyone else and can say that we probably feel the closest to you right now and as a result can offer you our sincere sympathy, love, hugs and well wishes to you and your family. Can't even begin to pretend that I know how you feel as I don't but you're doing such a fantastic job. Please take your time to heal and grieve as you should and don't worry about us subscribers, you and your family come first. However this video alone is testament to not only your wonderful eye for creativity but your mother's wonderful parenting as by God if I even had half of your creativity and especially your confidence at my age ( 34), your mother has clearly done an amazing job as you're the most down to earth, genuine and most real youtuber I know of - it shows in every video.
I pray that you and your family will find peace and the pain will ease a little every day. Thanks for sharing this with us Elle.

i am so so sorry. i cried the whole way through this video. i can’t imagine how your feeling. my dad was diagnosed with cancer 4 years ago, and in that time he nearly died. i remember having to say goodbye to him at home before an ambulance took him to hospital. no one thought he would come home, but thankfully he did. this video breaks my heart so much because of what you have had to go through. i’m so sorry you had to go through this. watching a parent go through cancer is the scariest, most upsetting thing, but losing them must be so much harder. i admire your strength and my thoughts are with you and your family. x

I lost my mum when I was 13, she left behind me, my older sister being 21 at the time and my youngest sister being just two! This video, filled me with mixed emotions! Sadness but also happiness! I’m glad you can tell her story and so she lives on in another lifetime! What an inspiration to all xx

This was too painful for me.... like you I lost my mum in my early twenties, 25 years ago, I wish I could say the pain gets easier, but it doesn’t , you just learn to live with the pain! I’m glad you have a lovely sister... keep strong together and treat each other with love and respect the way your mum always taught.... that is her legacy... love ...

Yes like me i lost my mam 40 years ago and you never stop missing them. But as time goes on you remember the nice times and not so much when they were ill and thats a blessing.

This really hits home, I lost my mum when I was 16 and it’s an unimaginable pain that stays with you. I’m still grieving and it’s been 3 years. It always hurts but somehow you learn to manage the pain. I hope you’re beginning to manage that pain Elle, all my best x

Jennifer it really sucks, all the milestones your mums not there for and the absence of all the little things she’d do. People expect you to be over a loss after 3 years but there’s some days where it hurts just as much as the day she died. I often worry about forgetting her and the little things she did. I hope you’re learning to cope and I’m here if you ever want to talk 🤍

For the many years I have been following your path I have never been more proud of you and katie. I’ve watched this video so many times this past week and feel like I’m ready to sum up the emotions this video makes me feel. It’s quite simply the most beautiful tribute I’ve ever seen. It’s so calming, peaceful and loving. I obviously don’t know you or your mum personally but I feel like I knew her from this video as it captures her soul so beautifully.
