Going back to my massive purchase from last week, to continue going through boxes and see exactly what I had bought. If you watched the first episode, then you saw the guy's house where I picked up all the stuff. He was a storage buyer in Southern California, and his house was packed! I bought it all, mostly sight unseen, so every box is a surprise, and many of them hold true treasures. The Deal. Several years ago when I owned/operated a discount grocery store I was offered a local party store buyout. The seller was someone we did regular business with and he was really pushing me to make an offer. I knew what I had available and it wasn't our core business but... The best way to figure those kind of deals is "what is per item cost". At a nickle an item I couldn't pass. It ended up being a great deal to add another dimension to our business and if some stuff had to go cheap it didn't matter. Obviously time, labor and moving expenses makes it not "free" though some people thought we got our supplies for 'free'. But our great customers just knew they were getting a great deal - and I raised 4 youngun's to responsible adulthood by that business. Keep up the great work!

Wow !! Not everyone , in fact I don't think the. vast, vast majority of people, could handle buying that amount of stuff, flying down, loading it up, driving back (that had to be hard), renting a locker, unloading and then sorting & selling. You will do very well with this. You work so hard that you deserve to be successful ! I'm looking forward to seeing more videos of the unpacking

I think you got a great deal. I think my first guess was close to what you paid. You will definitely make some money and it takes money to make money most of the time. I think you will have another 7 grand into getting 2 more trucks full but even at that you will double your money. I’m happy for you and the family. Do you ever put the brand new clothes in your live auctions? Shipping would be easy and you would make 30 or 40 bucks opposed to 10.00. At the high end market. Just wondering

I was going to say 15,000 grand. I think you know how the pros and cons in making what you do for a living works.. If you enjoy your job then yes it’s a reasonable price you never know what treasures you might find if the previous owner forgot! Plus it’s entertainment for us on TH-cam and Whatnot! So thank you! 👍

Wow!!! 😳 What a deal!! We do storage auctions on my channel, and we usually end up with several units filled with so much goodies than we can handle, we gotta start making deals with people who might want to take some of them off our hands 😅

Definitely did extremely well on this buy at 8k. Secret going forward is keeping expenses under control. No rest for the weary,flea markets weekly maybe twice a week W/N empty that storage unit at 400 a month adds up boy I’m tired just thinking about it 😵💫 need to clone yourself! That Pdiddy joke was bad!😂 If you get a bunch of those little makeup bags that are clean, I would buy them. I use them in my cross stitch bags to keep my threads and needles and scissors in.

8K is a great price. There is such a variety of sellable stuff. It will keep you busy for months! If you average $2 per item you should 4x your expenditure, and some of the stuff you've shown is much more than $2! 😊💜

This is a great deal. Jim estimated that he had 30,000 items. Even if you get $1 per item you have made money. More realistically you average $10 per item, so your income is $300,000, with a cost of $16,000 expenses, and then your labour. a Great deal.
But do you think if might be time to clear out two or three of your storage units, so you do not end up in the same situation as Jim, ie, needing to get rid of everything vastly under value.

I look all the time, but a 2,000 square foot space will cost around $4,500 per month plus utilities. This area is so expensive, it's just not feasilble for our business.

"My Melody" is a Japanese anime show based on the Sanrio characters. I went to visit my grandkids in Japan. My granddaughter was crazy for Cinnamoroll, but liked my melody. The Japanese love their convenience stores. 7 Eleven was huge in Yokosuka. The favorite convenience store of my family was Lawson Station. They had a lottery for the kids and my granddaughter got two My Melody cups as the prize.

This was a steal at $8k. I thought it would be $13K at least. It is such an interesting variety of goods. It will be interesting to see how much you turn from this. I think a big return is in store.
