THE MONSTROUS COMBO!! Those are two of the best space heaters out there! Great video, I was looking forward to it! By the way, the GTA V stutters are caused by the engine self destruct that happens when you go past 180 fps
You can cook a steak on this SLI combo, can't wait for cooking tutorials with GPUs. Edit: every single benchmark regarding GTA 5 is not the "real" performance that the system is capable of. A full session in online mode will have a significant impact in performance. Perhaps, you will present single player and multiplayer experiences together.
true. most of the time i was online and had problems like not very consistent because of the people inside. some where modding and the FPS was dropping. can`t stay steady alive. very volatile with people but most of the time others just run the benchmark and that`s it. look at Kryzzp from @zWORMzGaming very constant and same path to see the performance.
@@DanielCardeiindeed, modders can be a huge problem. Performance is inconsistent between sessions with peaceful people and people that always fight and spawn bombs or planes on roads. These old cards may perform fine on older hardware, but you need some balls to play GTA Online on those.
One thing about the cooler design. It is quite interesting. You have the enclosed Blower pressure cooling design, but a heatsink which also radiatetes some extra heat out of the pressure chamber. As long as case airflow is good, not a bad idea.
:3 waiting for ashes of singularity appearance once again, p.s deus ex mankind divided is on 85% off very nice game and works on sli . Thanks for cool videos. Btw or you also collect cpu's or only gpu's?
@@DanielCardei true u need have moherboards laying around for each socket too. I see you using 2699v4 I have 2696v3 in one of my rigs, but not huge fan of it. I had it with 128gb ram was thinking to use it as server running dedicated game servers for me and my friends, but wasnt running servers that good. I recently tried running palworld on my cheap bulldozer fx 8350 rig that i put together for fun and I got better results somehow. Weird
The 188 max fps in gta 5 is the engine limit. If you exceed 188 fps limit u will have terrible stutters as we saw in the video. To avoid that you should increase the settings or lock the max fps to 188
The best gtx 400 series was gtx 590. Gtx 580 is what 480 should have been if nvidia didn't rush the release. Only with custom made pcb like Gigabyte soc fixes a part of the problems these had.
GTA has engine limit of 180 fps . When you go pass that fps it starts to stutter, either the fps must be capped like 170fps for example or increase some settings . BTW Nice collection of gpu's : gtx 295,590 .👏
🤫 those need repair the ones that work are in the box sealed. i took those out form a box with dead GPUs trying to see whats wrong with them. ND, Not detected, artifacts, etc and try to label and learn more.
@@DanielCardei you know what that means, time to open up the wallet and spend more money! theres gotta be a board that supports that xeon processor with 4 pcie e slots.
i`ve notice now and its a very good info to have for the future. Considering how many cards i test, i don`t have the opportunity to test some that reaches that level
For best smooth gameplay, I just lock GTA V at 60 Hz (Vsync). The power and heat also goes way down, when being limited, on both CPU and GPU. (I have a 60hz 1440P monitor, so no reason to not limit it)

alright. now it makes sense because i was mad at the next video
In winter, if you can't find any wood to warm up...but you find these. You know what to do...

No, this is sparta GTX 480!
GTA 5 has an engine limit of 180 fps. After that it stutters. BAD. so either increase settings or resolution
🙏 that makes sense
So many SLI and Crossfire videos 🔥🔥🔥
i`ll keep them alive. they will always be cool.

Majority of reviewer out there did not test GTA V online portion either.

Crysis when maxed out looks amazing. Even in 2024
People don`t realise how long and how many GPUs had to be launch in order to see this game at maxim.
He is pulling out the the heavy artillery now. Nice! 👍

CPUs too but not that enthusiastically because its hard to swap them

It was a beast in 2010!
And a meme 😁
Hey, Daniel, you should save this kind of SLI for the colder time of the year.😅

how think GTX 480 quad SLI ?
One day one day

The gpu crashes because it got a reflow done to it not a reball. 👀 Never reflow, just reball.
One day I'll master it.
I still have my evga gtx 580 3gb sli on my wall.
don`t sell them and seal them in airless bags.
My other system gives me 100% load of the cpu and also the gpu in gta v at the same time most of the time. I have never seen that before. It’s great 😂
maybe i forgot. what system you have?
there is an fx quadro 480 series that has dual gpus
The equivalent of GTX 480 its Nvidia Quadro 5000 and i made a SLI Benchmark with it.
ive bought 5 GTX 480s because there is a high chance at least 2 or 3 of them are dead or will die. EDIT: Quad SLI tests next?
Unfortunately, I can't because of the motherboard and the case.

The stutters in Gta are from high fps the engine can't handle it, anything below 160 is ideal

The rumour for GTX 495 was posted on 1 of April
But GTX 490 was unreleased and was put in the GTX 590.
