Loved your excitement with that trout! What a great experience for your first time fly fishing. That being said, i swear my favorite part of f.i.s.h. Is seeing your lunches, don't ever take that out of the segment formula!

I can't read that in 2018 rules for flyfishers (no release on other methods or ice fishing) within fair use (not authorized to C&R many more fish than would be the keep limit (3) ... up to 4 or 5 ok ?
Especially for her first fish on a fly rod her very first time fly fishing. Fuckimg jealous as hell I've been fly fishing for trout for 5 years and haven't caught on over 5 lbs.
don't fret too much my friend. looking at that rainbow trout it looked very disproportional and had the screaming characteristics of a stocked trout. like in other words it's farmed in some respects. still cool though must be exciting for the amateur angler for sure!
Man you should try carp fishing! A 5 pound carp is considered small. A bit of practice and you can catch 15+ pounders regularly. That's a hell of a fight on fly gear. If you're having trouble getting over the "trash fish" barrier, just pretend for a moment they're really obese trout... ;)

Yeah, nice, there is only one small problem here, you are not in any way alowed to practice catch and release in any of the lakes in Villingsberg acording to the rules on the card. You are probably not the only one doing this but if the people that control so people have bought cards se you it will be costly.
Where is this stated ? If Google Translate and my guessing of Swedisch is correct, it is not allowed to practice C&R to fish excessively beyond the catch quota of fish (i.e. they count to) - and only for fly fishers "Vi har förståelse för om flugfiskare med inklämd hulling återutsätter fångad fisk, men att fånga och återutsätta många fiskar utöver tillåten fångstkvot är inte tillåtet." I don't think that Kanalgratis would show fishing practices illicit in Swedish waters

A little brown trout? that's not small anywhere. I wish people knew more about the fish before coming off arregant. That girl had no idea she just caught an enormous rainbow. I live in New Hampshire United States and on average our rainbows are 2 lbs. biggest I've ever caught is 4 and a half pounds and that's huge for around here
That's just how we roll over here
That was a baby one. 20+ lbs rainbows are typical here as well. It can go to 40+ for the trophy rainbow.

probably fish pellets. Generally a lake of that size can't allow a rainbow trout to grow to that size naturally.
