“FIGHT NOT EASY, FIGHT NOT LIE...”
This is old school Muay Thai philosophy: you can do more than you think.
Have you had one of those days at training where you just want to take it a little easier? You tell your trainer you're tired, had a hard day at work, didn't sleep well last night.
But if your trainer is Ajarn Gae, this is a signal for him to push you harder.
Because when you're tired in a fight, your opponent is not going to give you a breather.
    "You die sure."
Ajarn Gae teaches the 'old-school' style of Muay Thai, the way that he was taught by his old masters.
What is old-school? In a nutshell, weathering through the storm with a stoic heart.

There is a limit to this go go attitude. It might be seemingly good in the short term. I went hard always as a judoka. Now I have a replaced hip with another on the way. That's why there are former NFLers that can t walk at 40.
One time I wish a fighter was more of a quitter.....? Gerald McLellon. I wished he said 'enough' sooner. God Bless him. There is more to life than beating each other unconscious.

Most people have laziness as their problem. It makes sense that these teachers emphasize discipline in these clips for the general population.

A true legend. Old school training at its best. If it’s good enough for namsaknoi, it’s good enough for me but clearly not good enough for 26 people ....

He's telling the truth about fighting in the ring. Salute to him. Once was in TaeKwonDo tournament, many years back, it was not easy to proceed to the finals. During training, we can just break, during the battle, u got break & defeated if you don't fight.

This is so true. In a real fight nobody stops so he's giving his fighters tough love. But it is love all the same cos it will save them one day.

A friend of mine was training for 6 months in Thailand. 6h per day. The first week he puke every afternoon while training. He didn't stop even when they ask him for a break. This gentleman is telling the truth.
Thanks for the video Mr. Kenshin, as always.
