- When you hear the words “Hard Rock,” you probably think of rock and roll and late night parties. Those things are certainly part of the Hard Rock brand, but there’s so much more! Our family recently stayed at the Hard Rock Hotel Punta Cana and found that it was actually a very family-friendly all-inclusive resort. In this video, I’ll cover the accommodations, the pools, the beach, the entertainment, the activities, the spa. I’ll also explain why I think this is a particularly good resort for families with teenagers. And of course I’ll cover the resort’s Covid safety protocols. Went to this resort in December of 2021. It was pretty awesome. This video was spot on regarding the amenities and the food. Wish they have better food options but other than that no complaints.

Hey thanks for the video was planning a stay in punta cana was the rain a big problem.
Not really! In the Caribbean it’s common for it to rain a bit each day but the showers usually don’t last too long. I think there was only one day where it rained most of the day. But of course that varies and is also dependent on time of year.

Everything. They have some tours and activities that are additional. But food and drinks (including alcohol) are entirely free.
Hi although this is a Family friendly resort, how would you rate the night life for a 21st girls trip birthday?

How much was it for the cabana on the beach? How many hrs do you have it for?
I booked the same hotel room, and it looked nothing like your experience. Also, the beach was filled with seaweed half the time, so we could only use the pool.
That's too bad! Seaweed is definitely a seasonal thing in the region, and as much as resorts try to keep it under control, a lot of it depends on mother nature! We didn't see too much on the beach when we were there.

4:16 dissagree; MOST punta cana resorts have beach access. Ive been there in 3 different ones. ALL have beach access. The difference from one to another might be the beach service and accomodations.

It would have been helpful to mention that this hotel allows smoking on the premises. We are here now and definitely would not have booked if we knew we would be smelling peoples nasty cigarettes while at the resort.
This is not a good option for non smokers or people traveling with small children.
I stayed here multiple times, and I'm surprised they would recommend this for children! It's more of a drunken 20 something fest!

Yes we’re all aware. Spanish is the official language of Mexico too but you don’t run into the same severe language barriers as you do in DR. If you’re booking at a small local guesthouse, you’d expect to mostly communicate in Spanish. But I think most travelers would be shocked by how little English is spoken at even big resorts in DR. Especially someone who books at a brand as American as Hard Rock, they’re probably expecting a certain level of English among the customer-facing staff.
