It’s just a support for the bumper cover- unimportant with this little dent. But I think he messed up the bumper cover so it will have to be repainted. Should have removed, straightened and reinstalled. Extra 10 minutes but no paint ($400 cost here for paint bumper professionally)

i fixed my bumper by forcing a 4ft wooden post behind the dent, effective.
Pouring hot water on it to soften it and make it more pliable to pull out
So why did they have to drill the hole? Could have opened the trunk and pushed it out from the inside
