Your voice sounds different on camera cuz you're narrating! Having a casual convo irl vs narrating your day on film that needs to be edited are completelyyyyy different!! It's muscle memory, that's why you don't notice it but he does lol. Not fake, just a pro at vlogging!!! :)
Best trick to catch flying bugs in the house is to spray water or household cleaner on them the spray generally reaches as far as a swatter and bogs down their wings so you can get them!
