Hey Kyle, I've been watching your videos to help teach myself Revit and you do such an amazing job explaining everything. Revit unfortunately released Revit 2024, which is the version that I've been using and they've made some changes to the way that topography is created now in Revit (Toposolids, removal of building pads, etc.). With all of these changes, I was wondering if you would be able to show how topography is done in this newer version since I am at such a loss trying to figure it out 🥲 Again, thank you for all of the videos that you put out, you have no idea how much of a help you've been. What versoin of Sketchup are you using? Will a free version of Sketchup work with obtaining countour functionality? Than you in advance for your advice.
Hi I am using a Pro version, I believe Sketchup recently made this only available on the Pro version though it may still work on the free version. Cheers
Good question. It is possible and there's a few different programs that can do it. CADMapper is one of the ones I'm familiar with. Perhaps I'll create a follow up video. Cheers
It would help if you clarified which version of each program you’re using. I spent a good 30 minutes trying to get this only to realize you were using sketchup pro and not the base one….

Says "Revit" tutorial. I suggest future videos that are titled "Revit" tutorial that they don't require other paid software.

It definitely depends on where the location is. Much more accurate in high-population/city regions
