• 4-6 Abayas
• 4-6 Scarves (include under scarf caps, if needed)
• 2-3 Pajama sets (including pants & top to use as thermals or layers)
• Undergarments (i.e. underwear, t-shirts, bras, SOCKS, etc.)
• 1 extra pair of shoes (i.e. sandals or sturdy flip flops)
• Laptop *if checking your carry-on bag, put your laptop in backpack
• Laptop Charger
• Universal Travel Plug Adaptor
• Fitted Slippers (optional, for wearing in Masjid al-Haram)
• Medicines & Vitamins (i.e. Activated charcoal pills, Tylenol, Vitamin C)
• Snack Refills
Backpack
• Neck pillow
• Phone Charger
• Snacks
• Travel Size Prayer Rug
• Prayer Book
• Small Journal/Notebook
• Mini Quran
• Hajj & Umrah Neck Book (optional)
• Sweater or Jacket
• Snacks
Fanny Pack
• Hand Sanitizer
• Gum for the plane
• Small Tissue pack (more can be kept in suitcase)
• Small amount of vitamins & meds (i.e. Vitamin C, Tylenol/Advil, Activated Charcoal, Allergy Pills, etc.)
• Tasbih (Dhikir Beads)
• Earbuds/Earphones
Neck Pouch/Wallet
• Smart Phone (*Every person must have an unlocked phone to get a Saudi Sim & to enter mosques in Mecca & Medina)
• Money and/or Credit & Debit Cards
• Passport
• Vaccine Card
• Copies of Important Documents (*Visa, Passport, Maqeem Form, Covid test, Vaccine card)

Thank you for your helpful video! I am leaving in 2 weeks and found this extremely helpful. Do you recommend printing out all the documents and copies of documents or just having it on your phone? Also, did you need to take any additional passport pictures?

I kept printed copies with me of everything, as well as pictures on my phone. I think I had additional passport pictures with me, but I didn’t need them or use them for anything while on the trip.
