Don't worry at all Khadijah inshallah you will be fine! May Allah swt accept your efforts. Once you get yourself familiar with the Kaba you will know your way around trust me. The Hajj and Umrah Guide was really helpful for me

How many days to stay in Mecca for Umrah sister? Was it the same as Hajj? For hajj we stayed for over a month there... Please give me more ideas sister... Shukran!

I just ordered mine from Amazon? maybe check on google to see if there is anywhere close to you?
Do you actually need the seat thing ?? And an umbrella for definite? Asked others they said not really ?? Advice pls going next Friday in sha Allah
For me it was a big help just because sitting on the marble floor when its busy is not comfy at all. It does depend on how long you want to stay at the harum so for me I stayed there most of the time so I needed to be comfy... as for the umbrella 100% if its hot weather its at least 3-4% cooler in the shade and its so helpful for other people to spot you if they get lost etc.

I have a question if you dont mind, what clothes did you wear under the abaya? I am a really pale white petson who burns easily and i dont tend to cope well in the heat, so i am looking for ideas of what to wear under it. I hope you dont mind me asking 😊
W Salaam, Congratulations! exciting news! thank you so much for watching. For me December isn't toooo hot so I would literally just wear leggings and a tank top and that worked well for me but I get very warm very quickly so it worked for me... you might want to put a long sleeve top on?

I have been told the same thing.
Norethisterone is used to delay menstruation. It is taken one three times a day during your visit, and you should start 3-4 days before your period is due. Once you stop taking it, your period should come on 2-3 days after. This is a prescription only drug.

What kind of snacks did you take with you?
Ooooooo anything and everything. I have nuts and chocolate eclairs as well as dates and mini cheddar packets

Female? Cap? Your neck will be exposed. Perhaps go to your closest Islamic learning centre or masjid and ask advice re dress code, awrah of female etc. In shaa Allah you will be appropriately dressed in the holiest of places... when you are connecting with our Creator.

did you put any makeup on while you were there? and if I wear long sleeve maxi dresses, with the scarf on my head and obviously leggings, would that be sufficient or do I need a coat/cover also? any advice would be helpful please

If your dress is loose and not transparent it should be fine. Wearing black instead of colours is better, florals, and flashy colours are distracting and an eye-sore. Why would you want to wear makeup? Moisturizer and lip ice/ chapstick and perhaps sunblock is enough. Be natural when you are connecting with your creator... the way you entered the world and the way you will leave. Focus on the purpose of your visit to the holy land, and in shaa Allah, all will be well.

when it comes to makeup I didn't wear makeup... but I did have CC cream and lip balm.. the was enough for me just ensuring it had the right SPF in. You wouldn't want to bother with makeup when your there to be honest.
you can wear what ever you like.. as long as it is appropriate ie covers your whole body from head to ankles... but I would 100% say its best to blend in... ie wear a nice long abaya.. you don't want to stick out like a sore thumb when your there as the guards/sheiks in the gold robes do tell you to cover your wrists and things too...
