    • In this example of mine, the first step in answering the secondary classification small letter is to identify first the blockings of each fingers on the right hand and also the left hand.
    • We will now proceed to the primary classification, all we have to do is to add all the fingers that has WHORL pattern, we will begin counting the fingers on the right hand; from the left to right, and the other one also the left hand fingers from right to left. Summing up the number which has whorl pattern on the numerator we have 12 and the other one the denominator which don’t have a whorl pattern we have zero but we must not forget the 1/1 which is given so we add or plus, so we have the total of 13

    • We will proceed to the secondary classification of capital letters. Copy the blockings of right and left of index finger, the blocking of the right index finger will be on numerator while the blocking of the left index finger will be on denominator

    • We will proceed to the secondary classification of small letter . First memorize the letter a, t, r, the rest of the blockings presented as dash (-) , the method it involves only the thumb, middle, ring, and little finger.

I come up with by doing the blockings ,next I do the primary classification. After getting the FPC, I proceed next to the secondary classification that I just copy the symbol for the index finger which is T and C and then I identify the secondary classification by small letter (a,t,r) and then just put dash (-) to doesn’t belong to the small letter symbols. That’s how I get my answer.

In solving the secondary classification by small lettered group,we must first familiarize ourselves with the symbols of each pattern. Take note that only the radial loop, plain arch, and tented arch a,t,r-this applies to all fingers except index fingers since that is used only for the capital lettered group.
    PROBLEM:

    2. lf we are done at the blockings, the second step is that we will proceed to the primary classification; take note that only the fingers that have a whorl pattern has the numerical value. We will start counting at the thumb of the left hand. Start counting the numnerator from the left thumb, moving to the right index, to the left middle, right ring, and ending with the left little finger. For the denominator, count in the opposite direction of the numerator. And ad+1 to both the numerator and denominator when counting the value. PA PA PW RL UL

    3. 3. After getting the FPC, proceed for the secondary classification by Capital letter. Just get the symbol of the index finger only and it must be in capital letter

    4. Next step is to do the secondary classification by small letter. This refers to the a, t,r patterns (plain arch, tented arch, and radial loop). Since the capital letter only applies to the index finger, the small letter applies to all fingers except the index (thumb, midle, ring, and index). If a pattern does not belong to the smalletter symbols or the a, t,r patterns, then it will be represented by a dash(-).

After that, calculate or count the primary classification. In counting the value always add +1 in both the numerator and the denominator. In counting the numerator, start to the left thumb, going to the right index to the middle left finger, rigth ring finger and lastly, left little finger. In counting the denominator, do the opposite.

Then let's move to the secondary classification by capital lettered group. It is simply to copy the blocking or symbol of the right (upper) and left (lower) index finger then place it beside the primary classification.

Lastly, let us now get the secondary classification by small lettered group. It applies to all fingers except the index fingers. In getting the secondary classification by small lettered group, only those belonging to the (r a t) should be written, those patterns that intervene which does not belong to the (r a t ) must be represented by a dash.

Since both the thumb does not belong to the (r a t) leave it as is, but if it happens that it belongs to any of the (r a t) put it in between the primary classification and the secondary classification by capital lettered group.

If a pattern does not belong to the smalletter symbols or the a, t,r patterns, then it will be represented by a dash(-).

In the denominator I did the opposite of it.

Secondary Classification by Small Lettered Group
    PROBLEM:
    Amp CPLW TA UL PW
    RL UL DLW RL UL
    First thing to do is blockings;
    Right finger blockings (/ ,C ,T,\,W)
    Left fingers blockings (\ ,U, W, \, /)
To get the primary classification, first thing to do is to add all the numerical value of whorls. We can get the numerator from all the even numbers and the denominator from all the odd numbers in fingers 1 to 10. Note that the arches and loops has no numerical value, so they are not included in finding the primary classification. In order to get the answer, I did the criss cross pattern and came up with 19 over 5 as the primary classification.
Secondary classification by capital letter group focuses only in the index finger of both hands. I just get the blockings that is found in the index finger which is the C from the right finger and U from the left finger. So the secondary classification by capital letter group is C over U.
Secondary classification by small letter group applies to all fingers except to the index finger of both hands. In this group, only the three types of fingerprint pattern will be use which are the radial loop, plain arch, and tented arch (a,t,r).
From the Right Hand, I got an answer (t) from the middle, (-) from ring, (-) from little finger and letter (r) from the thumb
From the left hand, I got an answer of dash (-) from the middle, (r) from the ring, ( - ) from the little fingers ( r) from the thumb.
The (-) is a symbol to be used if the finger is not under the classification of small letter group.

Firstly, I made a chart and the blockings, and put their symbols. Secondly, I get the FPC, which is 2 (numerator) and 9 (denominator) by adding using crisscross pattern but only the whorl because only whorls have a numerical value plus the given fraction 1/1. Third, get the secondary classification by capital letter, which is the index finger that represents U and R. Lastly, the secondary classification by small letter includes the middle, ring, and little finger in both the right and left hands. We can use small letters if it is a plane arch, radial loop, or tented arch (a,t,r), and those who do not belong to a,t,r represent it as a dash "-." That's how I got the FPC= 2tU--r

In this Example of mine the first step in answering the secondary classification small letters is to identify first the blockings of each fingers on the right hand we have TA, CW, RL, PA, RL and their corresponding blockings are TC/A/ while on the left hand we have DLW, TA, UL, PW, RL and their corresponding blockings are DT/W\ after determining the respective blocking we will proceed to the primary classification.
In determining the primary classification, all we have to do is to add all the fingers that has whorl pattern, we will begin counting at the thumb of the left hand, on the left hand thumb we have Double loop whorl since it is a whorl and place on the thumb of the left the value of it is 4 the continue to the index finger of the right hand that values 16 since it is a central pocket loop whorl it can be counted then continue it to the middle finger of the left hand, it is a Ulnar loop therefore it can't be counted, this has no numeric value of 2, continue it to ring finger of right hand that values 8 and it is an arch therefore it can't be counted finally the little finger of the left hand that has value of 1 since it is a Radial loop it cannot be counted a total of 20 then add 1 as a given factor to make it 21.
we will now begin counting at the thumb of the right hand, on the right hand thumb that has a value of 16 we have a tented arch since it is an arch therefore it cannot be counted continue to the index finger of the left hand that values 2 since it is a tented arch it cannot be counted then continue it to the middle finger of the right hand, it is a radial loop therefore it has no value of 8 continue it to ring finger of left hand that values 1 and it is a plain whorl therefore it can be counted finally the little finger of the right hand that has value of 4 since it is a radial loop therefore it cannot be counted a total of 1 then add 1 as a given factor to make it 2

    PROBLEM:
    RL TA AW Amp UL
    CPLW PW TA Amp TA
The first step to get the secondary classification by small lettered group of the given problem is to do the blocking.
    RL TA AW Amp UL
    / T X W \
    CPLW PW TA Amp TA
    C W T W T
    * As you can see in the blocking part there is "Amp" which means amputated so what we will do is just copy the sign opposite the amputated finger, and if they are the same amputated just put the sign "W" ( whorl ).
Next step is to proceed to the primary classification, each finger has equivalent numbers:
    Right Hand :
    Finger 1 and 2 = 16
    Finger 3 and 4 = 8
    Finger 5 = 4
    Left Hand :
    Finger 6 = 4
    Finger 7 and 8 = 2
    Finger 9 and 10 = 1
    1 2 3 4 5
RL ¹⁶ TA¹⁶ AW⁸ Amp⁸ UL⁴ 1
    / T X W \ +----
    CPLW ⁴ PW ² TA ² Amp ¹ TA ¹ 1
    C W T W T
    6 7 8 9 10
Add all the numerical value of the whorl pattern only. For the numerator, we will start counting on the left thumb, on the left thumb we have CPLW since it is a whorl, we will count its numerical value which is 4, then continue to the right index finger which is TA , since it is not a whorl we will not add its numerical value. Next, continue it to the left middle finger, it is not also a whorl so do not add, proceed to the right ring finger since the right and left ring finger are both amputated then it will be a whorl so add its numerical value which us 8. Then last is the left little finger which is TA, again it is not a whorl so do not add, after that we will now add all the numerical value of whorl, 4 and 8 and then add the numerator of the pre- established fraction 1/1 to make it 13.
As for the denominator, the same steps on the numerator but we will start counting on the right thumb. We have RL it is not a whorl so do not add its numerical value, next is the left index finger which is PW since it is a whorl, add its numerical value which is 2, and then the right middle finger which is AW that has a numerical value of 8, continue it to the left ring finger which is Amp add its numerical value 8 since it is also a whorl. Lastly, the right little finger which is TA. We will now add all the numerical value of whorls, PW (2), AW (8), Amp (1) plus the denominator of the pre- established fraction which is 1, a total 12
    13
    FPC ------------
    12
Next, we will proceed to the secondary classification by capital lettered group. All we need to do is just copy the symbol of the right and left index finger and place it next to the primary classification.
    13 T
    FPC--------------
    12 W
Lastly, we will now determine the secondary classification by small lettered group. This applies to all fingers except the index finger. Only include patterns from ( a,t,r ) group, if a pattern doesn't belong to these group, use a dash instead.
In writing the secondary classification by small lettered group of the thumb, write it between the primary classification and the second classification by capital lettered group since the left thumb does not belong to the ( a,t,r ) just leave it as it is and there's no need to write a dash.

Lastly for thumb finger write the symbol between the FPC and index finger but if you are that expert enough in solving for small lettered group no need put dash.

The next step is to the get the primary classification. This is done by counting the whorls and adding 1 to the sum. To count the whorls, we must remember the assigned numerical value on the fingerprint chart. The values go in the following order for the right hand: 16 (thumb), 16 (index), 8 (middle), 8 (ring), 4 (pinky). And the following for the left hand: 4 (thumb), 2 (index), 2 (middle), 1 (ring), 1 (pinky). Remember, these values are for whorls only, arches and loops have no numerical value.

To solve for the secondary classification by small lettered group, the first thing to do is to familiarize ourselves with the symbols of each pattern. We must note that only the radial loop, plain arch, and tented arch a,t,r-this applies to all fingers except index fingers since that is used only for the capital lettered group.
    PROBLEM:
    CPLW TA RL. AW RL
    DLW PW UL PW UL
For us to solve for the primary to secondary classification by small letter, do the blockings first.
    CPLW TA RL. AW RL
    C A / X /
    +1/1
    DLW PW UL PW UL
    D W / W /
After the blockings, proceed to the primary classification; take note that only the fingers that have a whorl pattern has the numerical value.
    CPLW TA RL. AW RL
    C A / X /
    +1/1
    DLW PW UL PW UL
    D W / W /
    13
    FPC ----------
    20
After getting the FPC, proceed for the secondary classification by Capital letter. Just get the symbol of the index finger only and it must be in capital letter.
    CPLW TA RL. AW RL
    C A / X /
    +1/1
    DLW PW UL PW UL
    D W / W /
    13A
    FPC ----------
    20W
Next step is to do the secondary classification by small letter. This refers to the a, t,r patterns (plain arch, tented arch, and radial loop). Since the capital letter only applies to the index finger, the small letter applies to all fingers except the index (thumb, midle, ring, and index). If a pattern does not belong to the smalletter symbols or the a, t,r patterns, then it will be represented by a dash(-).
    Therefore:

    C A / X /
    +1/1

    D W / W /

We will now proceed to the primary classification, all we have to do is to add all the fingers that has whorl pattern, we will begin counting at the thumb of the left hand, on the left hand thumb we have Double loop whorl since it is a whorl and place on the thumb of the left the value of it is 4 the continue to the index finger of the right hand that values 16 since it is a ulnar loop it cannot be counted then continue it to the middle finger of the left hand, it is Central pocket loop whorl therefore it has a value of 2 continue it to ring finger of right hand that values 8 and it is an arch therefore it can't be counted finally the little finger of the left hand that has value of 1 since it is an accidental whorl it is counted, total of 7 then add 1 as a given factor to make it 8
we will now begin counting at the thumb of the right hand, on the right hand thumb that has a value of 16 we have a radial loop since it is a loop therefore it cannot be counted continue to the index finger of the left hand that values 2 since it is a tented arch it cannot be counted then continue it to the middle finger of the right hand, it is a amputated finger therefore we will copy the blockings of the middle finger of the left hand since it is a central pocket loop whorl therefore it has a value of 8 continue it to ring finger of left hand that values 1 and it is also an amputated finger therefore we will copy the blocking of the right ring finger since it is a plain arch therefore it can't be counted finally the little finger of the right hand that has value of 4 since it is a central pocket loop whorl it is counted a total of 12 then add 1 as a given factor to make it 13

In getting the secondary classification by smalled letter, we must do first the blocking.
    PROBLEM:
    CPLW TA PA UL AW
    C T A \ \
    PW PA RL PA TA
    W A \ A T
After the blockings, we will proceed with the primary classification and take note that only the fingers have a whorl patter has the numerical value. We will start counting at the thumb of a left thumb and start counting the numerator from the left thumb, moving to the right index, to the left middle, ringt ring and ending with the left little finger. For the denominator, count in the opposite direction of the numerator. Don't forget the ad+1 to both numerator and denominator when counting.
    CPLW TA PA UL AW
    C T A \ \
    PW PA RL PA TA
    W A \ A T
    FPC: 9
    ------

After getting the FPC, proceed with the secondary classification by small letter group and identify the a,t,r group. This a,t,r group are applied to all fingers except the index finger. Since the capital letter applies only to the index finger, the small letter applies to all fingers except the index finger. If the pattern does not belong to the small letter symbol or the a,t,r pattern, then it does not belong to the small letter symbols or the a,t,r pattern then it will be represented as a dash(-).

Before we start getting the secondary classification by small lettered group, we should familiarize the pattern of each fingerprint and also the symbol of each patterns.
For getting the secondary classification by small lettered, first, do the blocking.
    TA RL Amp RL PA
    T R T / A
    PA RL TA UL DLW
    A R T / D
Next, get the primary classification. (Only counting whorl family and adding 1).

    T R T / A ___+1
PA RL TA UL DLW +1
    A R T / D

    PROBLEM:
    TA CPLW PA Amp DLW
    UL RL TA CPLW Amp
First let do the blocking to get the secondary classification by small letter of the given.
    TA CPLW PA Amp DLW
    T C A C D > Blocking
    UL RL TA CPLW Amp
    / R T C D > Blocking
Then count the primary calcification. Remember that only the whorl family has a numerical value and also don't forget to add +1 to both numerator and denominator. Start counting the numerator from the left thumb,up to the right index finger, left middle finger, right ring finger then left little finger. For the denominator do the opposite direction.

Determine the secondary classification by capital letter group. Copy the symbol from the upper and lower index finger and place them next to the primary classification.
    TA CPLW PA Amp DLW
    T C A C D
    UL RL TA CPLW Amp
    / R T C D
    26 C
    FPC -------------
    6 R
The this last step is getting now the secondary classification by small letter group in both hand. This applies to all finger except the index finger. Only include patterns from the (a, t, r) groups, if a pattern doesn't belong to these group use a dash instead. In writing the secondary classification by capital letter group. Since the left thumb doesn't belong to the (a, r, t) leave it as is and there's no need to write dash.
    Final answer:
