  • This must-see panel discussion, jointly presented by Unseen and Justice & Care, shines a spotlight on what is being done by the two charities to support women who have been exploited, and bring them to a place of safety and hope.
While modern slavery can happen to anyone, women and girls are disproportionately affected, accounting for 71% of trafficking victims globally. In other words, one in 130 women in the world are living in slavery.
Many hundreds of women and girls in the UK right now are being abused, raped and forced into sexual exploitation, or trapped in domestic servitude and forced labour, robbed of their freedom and dignity.
Watch now to find out how our teams are working in partnership to respond to these terrible crimes and support women in the UK.

What recovery mechanisms are there for those who have not had access to the NRM? Also what does recovery actually look like? You didn’t go into that much detail, it was very much focused on rescue and prosecution.
