If you haven't been to Kadayawan Festival... YOU HAVE TO GO! This was the first time I ever checked out the "Tribal Games" at People's Park! It was so cool seeing the different tribes of Davao showcase their unique sports, skills and games!
Of course... I had to save energy for the amazing "Indak-Indak" street dancing Festival!
Go Davao City Go!! YOU MUST GO TO KADAYAWAN FESTIVAL!!

Kulas, you're the man!!! I'm from the North and currently living in Mindanao. I get to go home once a month though. Well, been around Mindanao as well and yeah, it does not seems as it is on the news. I loved going around the island already and it does not feel like you're unsafe. Culture is great here, most specially the people. Rich history shows, all people from around the world needs to see this beautiful Philippine island themselves to understand that Mindanao is not as dangerous as it seems. Peace out!

i used to join street dancing competition in south cotabato during my high school days.. i have experienced the rigorous training under the heat of the sun for months then dance in the streets of Koronadal City..
I hope to join in on one someday... and actually try to dance :)

it was just awesome to see how happy the people were. Fiestas do not only showcase talents, but, it always showcase unity and peace among the constituents of the place.
This is one of the biggest event in Davao City but look at the streets. Clearly Davao City is very clean you cant see any trash along the streets. Amazing Davao and its people!

Kulas u must Mini Salakot to protect ur head from heat sinced u always love to stay outdoor full of sunlight...its ok to be in sun at 7:00～10:: without covering ur head..and after that u will be burned.
