I've been starting with customizing my figures and honestly am lazy too. I usually see repaint videos that doesn't show the fig being primed prior to painting so I never really tried to use a primer. And I never really understood the difference with priming a figure and going straight on painting. Can you help me figure it out?
Priming helps the paint get better coverage and grip from the start. It's also helpful if you have a bunch of different plastics or clay sculpt since it becomes more of a unified surface for the paint. Different paints will look different on different plastics and clay and a primer helps with that.
i'd suggest getting the manipple mafex suit body since it only cost 20 dollars.
I love watching you paint. You never cease to amaze me.
It's amazing to watch how you've progressed as a painter, this came out truly amazing.
this looks so cool
it’s always nice to see you paint heads like this. i’m gonna have to paint some eyes soon and i’m not looking forward to it
Man, that looks incredible. Great job!
Try the McFarlane dkR joker
For Bryan’s Patreon, do I have to subscribe to see and purchase a Headsculpt?
I believe so, I’m not a patron cause I have no use for the files without a printer.
@@VADtoys ahh okay, thank you.

@@VADtoys I've been having paint scratches on the McFarlane crotch pieces, they easily wear off in time. Would the primer be helpful in that area?
