Wouldn't call this an attack. The water is chummed to attract sharks, and the scuba gear has a lot of yellow. You can even see the shark go for the scuba tank where there is probably yellow. Sharks see in high contrast so yellow is a dangerous color to wear when swimming with them. If anything, that is a very calm shark thinking it's munching at a dead eel or something.

i’m going in about a week!
Can't wait to jump in with u, only I'll make sure I'm in a Nautilus submersible
I'm glad that you survived. Are you still diving with sharks or did this experience change your mind ?
Rules 1,2,3,4,5,6 and so on of diving with Tigers.
NEVER TAKE YOUR EYES OFF THE TIGER.
First dive with tiger... But lucky I m looking at her all time...
If the diver was looking at the Tiger he wouldn't have had the protection of his tank and we'd have seen a lot more blood in the water. I'm not saying you're wrong but maybe this time it protected him?
@@dan4776 eye contact and it doesn't get that far. I've been around a lot of tigers

Tell me O N E thing: did the shark (or sharks) first got fed (= baiting) first over a quite ong period of time ...... ?
u can ask them (sharks)
Baiting sharks for divers to see is UNETHICAL
ya, shall ban this ...
Who got the bang stick? Those look like full adult tigers 15 feet long damn. In florida we only see sub adults. Glad that ended well. Very thin line slippery slope when dealing with big sharks
Yeah, with large ones, one bite and a head is off.
this one large enough
ya.. damn sexy adult female tiger
I am swimming with Tiger sharks outside of a cage in 4 weeks. Thanks for recommending this to me TH-cam!
Where are you diving?
Hope you enjoy it!

I hope you will comment after 4 weeks else we will assume that shark won.
They say Tiger Sharks are dangerous man eaters? There is only one way to find out lets go swim with them and find out if it's true
ya, need more data
Tiger sharks in the waters off Hawaii are very dangerous, I’ve heard. Don’t want to know first second or third hand, or anything else for that matter.
They are actually considered to be more aggressive than Great Whites.
@@kekecom My friends lost their son in a Tiger Shark aggressive attack off Hawaii.
@@ruffianoo That’s sad to hear man 🙏 tragic and unlucky
Did anyone get injured? Or did it just bite his equipment?
I gotta say, diving with sharks has always sounded the dumbest thing to do.
why, shark is cute...
Not really. Most sharks are not aggressive towards humans. Tiger and bull are the scariest plus they have food with them… In other videos, you can see divers petting and feeding the tiger shark. I’ve never gone on a dive where we bring food so this is new to me.
I agree. Sharks are cute.
what exactly attracted the shark ?
she just wanna try to know human
Those who know sharks know that the beast was just being curious and was casually investigating. If it wanted, then could have easily shred the person into pieces within seconds
so who is them
Bullshit. The shark clearly wanted to eat him, it just couldn’t get a good grab with his jaw because of the equipment. It was just sheer luck that the dude didn’t lose his head
@@bkarosi if you think those bunch of plastic or metal did not allow shark to have a good grip then you know nothing about sharks. It can chew metal quite easily. And that's how most fishes investigate things. Soft chews. If it intended to kill him. It would've. Seals and walrus have skins that are usually very thick. Shark ACN easily tear then into pieces. Sharks can even crush turtles quite easily
Agree, it was a taste test, not a full attack at all. Feeding sharks is stupid and causes problems for the future.
So how was your weekend last weekend?
I got bit in the head by a shark
For a moment I thought when it was trying to bite the air tank it was going to blow up like in JAWS 🦈
young man , dont believe movie too much....
That is not even a possibility
It blew up in the movie because Brody shot the tank & he had to hit it just right.
So is it Chinese or Japanese?
Pretty awesome the man diverted it at the last second... Only your mask that got ripped off... Would have been a lot more than that missing. 😁😎🎈
damn lucky
What do they expect, it's like talking a walk through the serrengeti, at night, on flip flops with a tasty bacon sandwich in your hand...
They should do this with bears next !!!
i think they do this to bear
There's a bunch of Russians laughing at this comment.
@@kenadams9376 I am Russian and can confirm, people here not afraid of bears haha
to keep it dangerous enough, try to feed some russians, in a bear costume
where's brown clouds around the divers?
try to watch clearly again
Was that a shark feeding, cause it looked that way?
If so you terds are trainging sharks to associate divers with food.
So others who are in water get bit.
Can't at feel bad for diver.
Ya, stop feeding
Would be better if the shark swam into the office of the operations owner/manager, bit their leg off and used it to beat them over the head cuz they are the real culprits here.
Nope. It is not training sharks to associate food with divers at all.
@@axm2689 Stop talking tripe.

Where was the attack?
looks like it gnawed on some diving gear only?
some...no much .. and mask no fit her face too
I’ve read somewhere that those Tiger sharks are worst than Great Whites, and that they attack and eat other sharks as well...
tiger eat a lot thing
@@stevenwood4water Yes, tiger sharks have been cut open to find license plates, people nuggets, plastic bags, anything that stops moving too long or acts or seems dead...or acts like it's soon to be dead.or seems like it just WANTS to be killed, lol, ..or anything moving at 50 feet per second on a flying surf board or.floundering huge turtles, capybaras, swimming for their lives ...or....yea anything....
Bull sharks and tiger sharks are the worst.
@@cryptojihadi265Am I seeing an hammerhead here too?
Wouldn't call this an attack. The water is chummed to attract sharks, and the scuba gear has a lot of yellow. You can even see the shark go for the scuba tank where there is probably yellow. Sharks see in high contrast so yellow is a dangerous color to wear when swimming with them. If anything, that is a very calm shark thinking it's munching at a dead eel or something.
Looks like the dive group was using burly to attract the large number of little reef fish being observed.
Little wonder that the shark was attracted and tempted to 'taste' further.
they use tuna blood and head
It's got shark and tiger in it...what more do you need ?????
one cat
Shark: ohh the buffet is open.
she cut queue
Here after the viral video of the tiger shark attack in Egypt. Does anyone know if there is tiger sharks in Greece?
This is what I call a bunch of amateurs with the exception of the one who pushed the shark away!
What did they think would happen?
a welcome drink first?
That's a Prime Example of Derelict Diver that Do not pay Attention to his Surroundings, and that's what happens when you ignored danger around you... Sad!
so lucky
Wasn’t the divers fault. It was the safety crew’s fault (behind the diver).
It’s like a war zone down there, shark version of after sky net took over and judgment day began

So wrong at the first place. No feeding shark pls, cc to resort. Hopefully your injured not so bad.
Resort is a OK, top management is moron
Can you describe how was the experience? just currious, don't wanna try it myself though XD
to me it looked like the shark was merely trying to get a tactile sense of what something was more than ACTIVELY trying to harm the diver.
If the end result was the shark taking a chunk out of his neck, I don't think it would have mattered
Are you for real?
The headline is wrong.
It should read: "Shark defends itself against humans coming into it's home."
XD
Imagine what would have happened he got his Oxygen tank pipe cut off by that in the middle of the ocean...
that be fine, we train that before..... but no one train this..............

That could have ended really bad. Glad you're OK. When I did this dive every tourist diver had an escort diver on top of them armed with a stick. Not sure why this operation was different.

Good grief that setup is ate up like a soup sandwich. What on earth were these guys thinking??

Hey Steven, honest question: Did you do anything *with your camera* that could've possibly lead to this?
No, dive actual just start 5min, no shoot start yet.. she just feel I need a hug
Steven Sim Hahaha 😂👌🏻
@Joseph Burnside Listen here, I've been diving with sharks for years (baited dives with tigers as well) and have never witnessed an attack. Don't try to put me down when what you're saying if false. "high probability"? Absolute bullshit. Approximately 6 fatalities annually from shark attacks and only one is from diving. Don't try to act smart. Get your facts straight.
that diver kept his head
ya , head
still there
The thing is, this incident is just the exception and not the rule. More than 50.000 divers go dive each year with Tiger, Bull and Hammerhead Sharks in Maldives, Bimini, Fiji and Bahamas with no serious problems at all. It will be interesting to know all the cincumstances in that dive, and why the Tigers were showing such a badass behavior
That's a big fkn tiger shark!

And what did we learn today?
When your in the ocean that's every creature that is in there is their domain and everything is fair game..... I mean everyone knows that.
