Hey Vaughn, I rarely comment on your videos, but I'm from the south suburbs of Chicago and you've served as an inspiration for me for a long time. IKEA has a lot of cool looking stuffed animals in their kids department. There big and soft. Also, I like mixing boys and girls clothes for my daughter as well. H&M baby/kids section is a great place for that.

My husband and I live in Washington start but he is originally from Chicago. My inlaws live on Frankfort and we were just there visiting. Frankfort is beautiful and a wonderful place for families as far as I can tell:)

Y'all should consider making your lifetime home in San Jose, ca. It is everything you were mentioning and more and we need police officers so it would be easy for Anthony to transfer. It'll be far from your family but def worth thinking about. My hubby is from south side Chicago and he said it's the best move he's ever made.

Just a few questions- Are you going to do a maternity photoshoot? Every mom to be isn't up for it but I think you're beautiful and would really do great.- You refer to someone as a "ship" all time, what does it mean? - And I think when Sweet Pea is around 9 months you guys should start looking for a home? OMG, Vaughn, I so love you my Aquarius sister (we so ROCK). Every outfit you picked up was pink, but you told your mom you didn't want pink. LOVE IT. BTW, thanks for your video about you pregnancy. My sister also suffered with that disorder for both of her girls. We didn't know a name then. But, some said it was because she was having a girl and if she would have had a boy it wouldn't have occurred. Well we won't know, she is done. Also, if she was throwing up she was spiting in a cup every 30 seconds. I felt so bad for her. Today is actually her oldest birthday and she is 10. WOW. Anyway, I hope you continue to do well. No one was rude to you though. Sometimes I don't know what kind of response you guys think you're going to get. You are questioning my decisions and family dynamics. That has never in the history of questions elicited a delicate response. And to be technical we don't really need to agree OR disagree about something going on in my house. How I address my step son should be off limits. There is plenty of other content in these videos we can discuss, why even hone in on something personal like that? Hi. Just wanted to ask, have you ever thought about just referring to your stepson as just your son? It's known that he isn't yours biologically, but the whole stepson term just sounds negative to me. It's as if it separates him from you all as a family unit, especially when the new baby gets here. Not trying to be negative, just food for thought that's all.
I feel the same as you. I don't like the term step when referring to children from a previous relationship. but to each their own
Too much Cinderella. There is nothing wrong with the term "step parent" or "step child" so I won't be changing how I introduce him to meet anyone else's expectations. To me it shows transparency and sophistication for the situation. Here's where the error occurs: People attach negative stigmas to circumstances based on their negative experiences. Indeed experiences shape perception but that don't make it universal truth. The term is not the problem, the experience is. Show me a wholesome home that was broken by a title and I'll show you a home that was never wholesome to begin with. Fun fact: Cameron is 12 and he has a step dad and 3 other siblings. He has attended 2 weddings and now has 4 parents. He is not troubled. I just hope we can continue to protect him from people offering solutions where there are no problems.
+MsVaughnTV my opinion is based on personal experiences. For me it was both the term and experience. Everyone has different experiences within their family. I am glad that your family hasn't had any negative experiences with blending your families together. I meant nothing negative towards you are your family with me saying I don't like the term.

I call my step mom my step mom she will never be my mom although she's been in my life since I was 4 and I'd rather her refer to me as her step daughter because I already have a mom and my mom isn't fond of her trying to refer to us as her actually children. Now this is my personal experience of being the child in a blended family.
