Me thinking "that girl has Nascar talent" and then you flashed the remote.🙂 Well water be good! Time to light a fire under the power company. Maybe you can try rice on the new 40? A belated Happy Birthday Ms. M!! 2 years already Maraylie Grace, WOW!
Developing means using air to move the small gravel away from the screen to be replaced with larger that acts as a filter from fine sand and silt. The air also separates the fines that cause discoloration, you normally blow until the water is clear and consistent in volume. That is a quick explanation for “development of the well”.
I'd say you got her a great birthday present. She sure is a cutie. You go looking around and you have nothing to complain about. Your off to a good start. Good luck at Burkey, stay safe.
Hey Nathan, was wondering if you have ever considered going to 22" beans? I know it means a new planter but you've mentioned yours is getting older. Have a great day.
Usually, "Developing the well", is when we pump water back down through the well pipe to blow out the in-ground aquifer fractures to enhance the flow-rate.
Kinda, the water wasn't at that level as they were drilling but once they broke through the clay layer into gravel at 51' the static water lever rose to 5' deep. Basically the water table is under pressure and there is a lot of water there
Yes but then the tractor isn't centered so you have to figure offsets and you can't "turn off the front rows so you'd have to set the population to double the intended.
I hope you realise how fortunate you are to be able to just bang a hole in the ground and get water like that. In my part of the world you have to apply for a permit which then effectively goes to a public hearing where anyone can oppose it. Environmental groups love to grandstand with this and then even if you do get permission you have to go at least 600ft deep with no guarantee of finding good water and then you’d probably be looking at a 250ft static water level with probably 30 feet of draw down. You could nearly have dug yours with a digger

Do you have another field near by you could run a second Rain ?
Not from that well
The bean planter, couldn’t you just plant 30 inch with the back rows?
Yes but then the tractor isn't centered so you have to figure offsets and you can't "turn off the front rows so you'd have to set the population to double the intended.
I have never heard how you are related to Phil.
He's my uncle

Now let's upgrade that car with a Milwaukee battery mod
I wonder if the car she will drive when she is 16 will also be electric.
Program the tractor to do the turning. It'll lift it out the ground And put it back down and turn the Tractor The operator don't have to do anything
Yes but it's not that easy
