Kevin Martin is the ablolute GREATEST in MHO. My friend Julio got me started on them in '93 ............. I got sober in '94 and a friend of mine from recovery bought the "cassette" for me and ALL their albums and lyrics have ALWAYS resonated in my life. I took my hip-hop preference son to see them in S.B. last year and when they opened with ARROW we were all in. He loves CB because of me and I will FOREVER live and die with KM and Candlebox. DEEP IN "MY" SOUL
My band Abrupt Edge had the pleasure of opening for this great band in Reno, Nevada in 2009. We were from Boise Id. This band is hands down one of the greatest live bands you will ever experience. Kevin is truly amazing vocalist, and front man! The whole band wss really nice, and made us feel like we belonged. A dream come true for a small town drummer from Idaho.

Guitarist Peter Klett very possibly had the best ever guitar tone on Candlebox's debut album. In 1994 Klett was awarded best new guitarist in Guitar World magazines readers poll and very much so deserved. Don't forget in 1993 Pete also did a nude shot for Playgirl magazine as one of Rocks sexiest musicians. My sister bought that issue I remember. Excellent guitarist.

I am a 70's and 80's hard rocker, and of all the 90's bands, Candlebox was the BEST! Fantastic song writing, the very best vocals, sizzling lead guitar, and many blues based rock and roll songs. I have seen these guys live 3 times, and I was very impressed all 3 times. I have seen Soundgarden, STP, Pearl Jam, Fuel, etc., and none compare to Candlebox. I will be seeing them for the 4th time at Rocklahoma 2015! I can't wait!

I would say one of the greats but you have a big list. The top would still be Freddie Mercury and Robert Plant and following that would be Chris Cornell and Kevin Martin with Myles Kennedy right with him.
I remember many years ago where I was, what car I was in ,when I heard Kevin's voice singing from a CD my friend played for me. I was instantly blown away and in love with his beautiful voice. Been listening to Kevin ever since and showing this concert to so many people that haven't seen it and younger ones who never heard of him and every single person has loved this concert. Even my son 26 years old

This band is my adolescence… this will forever be one of the songs I associate with being a teenager, and a reminder that there was so much talent in the 90s that it makes new music sound sad and empty.

Yes brother Drivin N Cryin is equally underrated just in different ways. Great music comes in all shapes and styles but you know it when you can SEE it and hear it. Live music will always be the truth no matter how many tricks they try we can tell what's authentic!
I wouldn't call them underrated because that first album was HUGE, but Candlebox is one of the most unfairly dismissed Grunge bands for sure. Its too bad they were written off because snobs like Eddie Vedder and Mark Arm thought they were too cool for Candlebox
I love candlebox. Awsome band. This show was recorded for a live dvd released in 2006 for there reunion tour. They did put on a tight performace, although there was some editing to polish it up for the dvd. Still kickass.
I remember them from the 90's. I loved them. This is mind blowing for me cause I way passed my postadolescense now (42) and after all this years my musical hearing grew a lot and I can clearly say I enjoy this band even more now than then.

Here 32 years later. I've listened to this album so many times and I can assure you tlyou this sounds just like the album. Great live performance. Doesn't get any better to be honest. Kevin is king of vocals on this album and his scream got me hooked to them first time I ever heard it.
One of the only things I loved about the 90's Candlebox is one them. They sound incredible even after 12 years after I got their album they sound so similar to the recordings...LOVE IT!!!!

November 1994. First concert. I saw Candlebox and their impassioned, raw, emotional performance made me forever a fan of live music, and of this band.
I think they might have been my first concert too in 1995. It was either them or Toadies....either way they were the first two of my concerts.

I’m 49, and was thinking Purple Gator in MB. Might have been Head Room. Lots of shows back then, they were amongst the best. Days of the new was probably #1 around that time.
Yes brother Drivin N Cryin is equally underrated just in different ways. Great music comes in all shapes and styles but you know it when you can SEE it and hear it. Live music will always be the truth no matter how many tricks they try we can tell what's authentic!
I wouldn't call them underrated because that first album was HUGE, but Candlebox is one of the most unfairly dismissed Grunge bands for sure. Its too bad they were written off because snobs like Eddie Vedder and Mark Arm thought they were too cool for Candlebox
I love candlebox. Awsome band. This show was recorded for a live dvd released in 2006 for there reunion tour. They did put on a tight performace, although there was some editing to polish it up for the dvd. Still kickass.

I remember them from the 90's. I loved them. This is mind blowing for me cause I way passed my postadolescense now (42) and after all this years my musical hearing grew a lot and I can clearly say I enjoy this band even more now than then.

Here 32 years later. I've listened to this album so many times and I can assure you tlyou this sounds just like the album. Great live performance. Doesn't get any better to be honest. Kevin is king of vocals on this album and his scream got me hooked to them first time I ever heard it.
One of the best alive performances of Candlebox!. Scott Mercado on drums give THE rhythm and powerful of this great band

One of the only things I loved about the 90's Candlebox is one them. They sound incredible even after 12 years after I got their album they sound so similar to the recordings...LOVE IT!!!!
