If you can develop a good pattern of specials, Geese isn’t that tough. The key is to not screw up on executing those specials. If you can pull them off every time with the right timing and precision, you’re golden.
Another good strategy I’ve found is that if Geese starts walking toward you, just back away from him. Eventually he will jump kick at you, and once you block it, when he is about to land, that’s your cue to press forward, then throw him when he touches down. Then go for some specials when he gets back up. Jump kicking or any kind of normal strikes is risky since he can counter them with a throw. Jump kicks can be landed on Geese, but specials are much safer to use.
the artwork in this looks more like a photograph. kind of like final fight with Abigail and Haggar in the foreground in a staredown.i wonder who the actors are who they got for these things.
well, my guess is that they hired some actors, and then traced some photographs that they took with the actors. like the one with kyle reese and the metal gear nes cartridge.
friends and I called this "Geese Ni Atari" I think takara didn't at the time understand the SPC 700 which is why all their ports until FF special sounded like dookie.
Oh my god, THIS VERSION SUCKS THIS BARELY EVEN TOUCHED THE MINIMUN OF THE SNES SOUND CHIP’S POWER! THIS IS TERRIBLE! It just sounds like one of those hospital heart monitors.
but the Sega Genesis cover made Geese look like a vampire who would be a major candidate for a Castlevania game.
I know the SNES sound chip can do way better than this. The Takara wasn’t trying.
You'd be right. Check the Fatal Fury Special version of this.
fanboy alert
This is peak cursed.
Agreed xD
AC版とは雰囲気違っていて、タカラ餓狼は悪評も目立つけど、これはこれでまた違った良さがあります。やはりギースのテーマ曲はどうアレンジしても名曲ですね。
Geese howard was one hell of a boss fight. Thank god i beat it.
I always thought Geese was one of the easier fights in the game,

Its hard to beat Geese in this port, the comands are soo boring to use

i really doubt they actually got actors just to draw this

That's like the only two examples where thats ever even happened
i'm sure there has been more examples.
not that we know of in videogames
Geese Howard = Biff, From The _"Back to the Future"_ Movies.... OR Vice-Versa. :P
You can tell they didn't put full effort when they didn't even attempt the really fast part of the song xD
Actually, no version of this track with the fast part had existed yet. That wasn't until Fatal Fury Special.
@@jonespianist3189 we must be thinking of different fast parts then
THANKS FOR UPLOADING. this is the best version.
Come with me, and you’ll see, AOF 2 and Arcade Fatal Fury were better.
And Double KO as another candidate.
@@gustavosimoes281 Don't forget Fatal Fury Special, also in the SNES.

I'll stain my hands, with your blood.
You Cannot escape from death
You....heh heh. - Geese KoF 96You depress me. - Geese SVC Chaos
“Let’s boogie woogie...”
Put it on 1.25 speed and it actually sounds a bit like the original
Parts of it sound like geese squawking.
Come on!
Geese Howard not with this music.
*_"GEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"_*
Ugh...this sounds so bad
For real
friends and I called this "Geese Ni Atari" I think takara didn't at the time understand the SPC 700 which is why all their ports until FF special sounded like dookie.
AOF SNES must have stolen all of Fatal Fury SNES' music budget
Dat game had some ugly cover art.
Oh my god, THIS VERSION SUCKS
THIS BARELY EVEN TOUCHED THE MINIMUN OF THE SNES SOUND CHIP’S POWER!
THIS IS TERRIBLE!
It just sounds like one of those hospital heart monitors.
Probably that person's first SNES experience, so that could've hurt how well they worked with the soundchip.
Good freaking god this is terrible. What happened with this soundtrack? Special was a lot better.
Que versión más horrenda 🤢 prefiero mil veces la de sega genesis
Lol, even the SVC versión of this theme from NeoGeo pocket is better.
Drums sound decent but the melody has been butchered to absolutely hell. we call this "Geese Ni Atari"
