Boerne Backyard Buck

A whitetail buck in Boerne, in the Texas Hill Country. This one is 3-4 years old and will probably be shot before January comes.
I wish they could age a little more first, but they are over hunted around here, these days.
The logic seems to be, "If I don't shoot him, someone else will". Just, twenty miles, NW of Boerne, they get bigger, because the ranches are bigger. Twelve and Fourteen pointers in 140-170 class, are more common, because they are allowed to mature. Oh, well. / This guy came back on Christmas Eve. We were glad to see him, again. He was bigger.
