Western Scrub Jay

Also called, Woodhouse' Scrub Jay, or California Scrub Jay. The adults have much more blue on top than juveniles. They are 1/3 larger than the Northern Mockingbird and just as vocal and territorial. They live in the Southern US, from California to Texas, and can be found wherever Pinyon/Juniper woodlands grow.
