I love Trevor McDonald and will watch what ever he narrates!
He is a great interviewer. Asks great questions and lets the person respond.
I like how trever says mafia :) Maaaafia ! this guy is great .
More like maaff-eeuh
Maahfia lol
Ma feyeh 😂
I like how they planted that lawyer in the scene to demonstrate how “connected” Alite is…😂
He walked up like he just happened to see them, then turned around and left in the same direction.
@ lol
Lol exaaactly what i was anout to comment then saw uour comment hahaha jeez this guy.. 😅
@@zibelemhaleni5719 Alite is a joke
The attorney is wearing foundation now I don’t think he normally wears makeup but what do I know. 🤷🏻
Sir Trevor is the best in the business!
😊
This is from 2015... But it is highly fascinating & a very excellent, more modern day look at things in the current day Mafia.. & great documentary!!! 👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽
One thing I learn from a billionaire is to love your self and look out for your family and the most important thing trust your self only
Facts 💯
Sometimes mommy
That sounds unhealthy to the rule in life with everything is balance.
@@asielespinosa5924 you learnt that Donald Trump. Same as me. 😂
sure, sure thing buddy.
Trevor McDonald consistently makes excellent videos. I got a kick when they asked the mobster where he went to school, and he took the fifth. How could that answer possibly get him into trouble? It's a mindset, say nothing, admit nothing.
Because he probably killed a classmate and that saying where he went to school would put him in the orbit of the victim
Like the CIA, they can neither confirm nor deny.
He went to the school of hard knocks.
Excellent journalism!❤ Thank you!
I see Trevor McDonald im all in 🥰
Nobody cares what you do 🤡
this is an older video, but, Sir Trevor is always the best!!!!
Thanks
the date is current
@@AfterEffectsDetailing it was shown a year ago and before buddy go look up
I'm 47 and have been watching Mr McDonald reporting the news since i can remember. News At Ten!
Sorry. Sir Trevor McDonald.
I miss the 80’s and 90’s
1st rule of the Mafia is
Never discuss or admit of the existence of the MAFIA !
which is why they're on tv
You talka too mucha
@
I’m from NYC -
GFYS!!
Ya just start a podcast
I know. I question whether this was casted with actors
I remember going to little italy around 96, you had those guys wearing track suits and big jewlery sitting around drinking coffee, wiseguys or wannabes, either way, you also had busloads of tourists walking around taking pictures of them, they literally became tourist attractions in that area (along with everything else)
Trevor voice makes anything sound good
its nice to see how people can change
Excellent
The lawyer is the same way as the bad guys
sir trevor - awesome vid👍 respect to scars 😮
From every documentary i watched interviews from mobsters, rats, cops n agents its clear that the toughest mafioso to ever walk the streets of NY was hands down
Carmine "Lilo" Galante
Anastasia was a pretty tough one too.
@@derricklandry9062 Anastasia was offed in 1957, not many ppl still alive today to remember his heyday in 1930s-40s.
Gregory 'the grim reaper' Scarpa is one that sent chills down many members' spines. Although an informant, he was still a wicked, intelligent, dangerous Mafiosa.
The "Alite Estate" was a walk-up in Queens with rats and no air-conditioning.
How is John Junior able to walk the streets of New York after turning on his mob bosses? I know who his Dad was, but he's long gone. Who keeps John safe? And how is that even possible?
It'll bring too much federal heat. That's literally how they were reduced to a shell of their former selves in America. Simply not caring about all the federal heat they were bringing on themselves. The old bosses understood to keep things quiet when possible and let certain things go.
Many people say many things in internet comments that they wouldn't say in the person's face. Be careful what you say.
I’d rather flip burgers at McDonald’s then have to live like that every day.
00:30 - "The editing here is seamless, really well done."
I don't see how a person can live this life.
Thank GOD for your life.
Documentary said ' Men who haven't ever spoken before!' but then you have john Alite on there, He never stops talking. But the guy does have first hand experience in the Mafia's hayday.
Jesus how many times are they gonna upload this?
“Dishes da life we chose. It’s cozah noshtra “
How many incidents were you involved in John? “ All of them “ lol
PLEASE do a part 2. There must be more mafia from the past that would do interviews. Well....I hope there are.
There is no part 2 everybody else's dead
Mafia ain't supposed to talk with anyone death sentence 😮😮😮
This is a re-upload and there is a part 2
Sammy the bull and Michael Franzese have their own youtube channels now. Alite is a joker.
@@adrianzilic5753 Thank you very much for your civilized answer.
How are these people not arrested when they admit to killing here
Because they took a deal in a previous case that gave them immunity
John only killed 1
There are many reasons. For the most part, law enforcement knows that if you put one of them away in prison, next week the mafia will replace that enforcer (what most people call a hitman) with another enforcer. So there is no way to change the way of life of New Yorkers and others whom are in the mafia. Another reason is that there s a unwritten code for law enforcement, if they cross the line and do anything to the mafia they are placing their careers, their lives, and the careers and lives of their family members in great jeopardy. It could cost them their careers, their lives, and those of their families. Mother reason is that the mafia like any criminal enterprise never works alone. Ask yourself this, is law enforcement supposed to put away in prison, every serial offender that kills someone? What about them? No lawn enforcement can’t put every criminal that kills someone away in prison.
Tom Sisson
How did trevor McDonald track him down but the mafia can't 😅
Money flush him out hahaha
You got to know somebody who knows somebody who knows some people who knows somebody who knows how to contact him..trevor said he was hesitate for some time before giving in to interview meet.. I assume he was doing due diligence to make sure trevor was legit reporter, I'm sure the mafia had tried luring him out with similar tactics of meeting requests of some kind. In the criminal underworld anybody can be contacted just put word on street so & so is looking to meet & if they choose to meet they'll get in contact or approach. If not you let it be.
FBI knows where he is
@@POFF-D He probably contacted some of them through the FBI.
😂
Mikey Scars has one of the best podcasts. I would love to be part of his Patreon and here more.

I think I saw this piece several years ago. Funny how Trevor say “Maffia” like all Brit’s.
She didn't care because he had a lot of money😅😅 she knew and she didn't care
Exactly
Pretty much
Won't you?
He made the ATM machine seem like coins
Most of the old mafia members that still walking the streets turned into stitches
lol woodhaven is a good neighborhood.. was never bad
Death haven… 😂 I almost cried when I heard that 🤣
Good documentary. One error though is that John Alite is not and never was a made man (officially a member of the Mafia). He is not Italian. He is of Albanian descent. For all intent and purposes he achieved the level of a made man, was very close to John Gotti and did the same deeds, but if it came down to the crunch, his influence and word was always less than a made man of Italian descent. There were many, many Mafia associates that had standing similar to John Alite.
Albanian Muslim descent.
I Miss Trevor’s stuff ❤
This is over 10 years old. Mickey Scars brother died in 1981, 33 years ago. We are now in December 2024.

You know that a documentary is going to be filled with facts when it starts with John "yes I did" Alite.
Sir trevor is a man i greatly respect bcze he was one of the africans on british T.v. in 1980's Also there was another heavy jouranalist Sayneb Badawi. He was role model for us young teen then.
He's African? I thought he was British. He's a great orator either way! His stories are always worth watching.
@taffykins2745 When whites go to other continent they remain europian but they expect others to loose their identity.
A very powerful guy said to me, which side of the bars you wanna be on? The inside looking out, or the outside looking in? I said neither thx LOL.
I think Michael's CRIP now. Look at his shirt😮
At least he’d be a real gangster than and not some guy in a suit clicked in with police
What about the shirt? It's plaid
Alite was a mere flash in the pan. Size 3 hat.
A rat is a rat...?
I want to know what mafia people think about people in gangs today
Also what do they think of West Side Story 😂
Nothing to see here, move along 😂
How can we squeeze some $ out of them.
I think Alite is right for the part..
Mafia is more irresponsible and sloppy than gangs, on top of that mafia has a license to operate from the Gov, gangs don’t
@@tannerlane9669lol! Say what! Gangs today are absolute buffoons!

Its crazy how ppl really think John Wick is based off a fictional storyline
The wealthiest ppl in the world do NOT consist of honest commendable ppl
Glorifying this lifestyle is disgusting!!!
tell that to people like alite wasnt even a made man and listen to him go if a ego could tell its story
This is a glimpse into the Roman iron of old😮
This Alite guy.... smh😂😂
15:56 Mickey “Scars” DiLeonardo wore a wire on his mother’s death bed in hospital. What a lowlife… and he never wants to talk about it
Good True story,"Cowboy Mafia".(book)Amazon.👍🌿🤠
Why are these guys still breathing and walking freely?
Well, you know how the justice system works. Plea deal for a reduced sentence, served their time, got out of prison...
??? 🤷♀️
FBI got what they wanted and that's what counts. They shut down the last of the mob, a giant and far reaching criminal enterprise.
What surprises me, is this guy agreed to be interviewed for public consumption.
Housing arrangement 😂😂😂😂😂😂
16:11. Forget about it 😂😂😂😂
Love Sir Trevor. But why do people keep re-uploading this video and just changing the title?
This is fairly old. John alite is older now.
mikey scars looks like mr steve wynn
Yeah
All Dummies, they could have made money legitimately, but chose to be criminals
Hope he asks Gods forgiveness! Wow! Seems like no remorse! Sad.
Maybe we can also add some cheerful music and by photoshopping a few fluffy pink clouds and then all have a good laugh about those norty mobsters and eat a bit more pizza ?
Franki Valli & the Four Seasons.
Great understanding, MOB &GANG culture is one in the same. Poor workers, making moves for a bosses and leads to losses.
I am the world’s greatest Mafia voice actor !
That is why jfk and bobby went after the mafia
I don't want to judge but even in 2025 this still happen
DIdn't John Gotti JR just refute that this guy's stories are real a few days ago on the PBD podcast?

This is not a new documentary. This was 10 years ago.
John Alite was not in the Gambino family nor as close as he suggests.
Do you know him?
@@borngreat-4-life930he most definitely wasn't at all. Alite isn't Italian. He was a hanger on that knew John Jr. Period
Stopped watching it when Allie the lier come up
Obviously the interviewer knows nothing about the life seeing how Alite was just an associate.
How do you pronounce Alite's name wrong?
They take a lot of credit when it was the snitches that brought down Omerta not the law itself.
John Alite was a punk
He just slipped and said he lives here!!! FLORIDA
That sure narrows it down.
No way she didn’t know JS , I didn’t want to know is more true .
What different between mafia and gangs
Night and day.
Organization and influence
same difference as the burger stand around the corner and mcdonalds
The amount of money they were able to get their hands-on and the businesses they were able to be involved in.
Their racial group
And no mention of Sammy the Bull?!😂
Low level street enforcer. We've blurred out his face:

an interview between two people with no relationship to the mafia.
How many times are you going to upload the same video, make some new content...
