The only subject that is being neglected here is mathematics. I mean if someone knows AI they know how important mathematics is for AI. Mathematics (mostly science) people are the most neglected in academia of the country. If someone is from science background and want to get into research (not pure science like functional analysis or string theory) go for industry. Today a good number of industry also doing research in AI as it is just in beginning phase. AI has just started to evolve and it is gonna affect everyone.
@@aakashverma8734 sure it's calculus that you should know for understanding basic of a NN. There are a lot of advance mathematical concepts that you should know to keep up with the research going on. As I told DL is still at nascant state and it's evolving rapidly.
Finally it's on my field of work, super interesting conversation, much appreciated, thank you so much. This is what we needed, rather than having multitude of superficial podcasts on Ram Setu and Spirituality as seen in popular podcasts like beerbiceps. AI, Archaeology, these are real fields of work with genuine people working their asses off to add value to society. We need more! Looking forward to it!

Today I felt that you are leading the Indian podcast scene because you are maybe the first who is bringing sponsors like joe rogan etc. and you are the one who is bringing professors they are the most credible guest one should get but we are still stuck at Bollywood stars.

Prof. Mausam is a real pioneer. His articulation of concepts and ideas is quite comprehensive. But its an opportunity wasted by the interviewer coz he failed to ask right questions. He seemed unprepared to me.

You have not seen yet Reserch and Coding culture of IIIT's(not IIT) and DTU , IIT me itna accha reserch culture nahi hain thats what he was trying to say And He has even said that after reservations were applied at IIT the selection became BS, he strictly said Reservations should be based on Financial condition(Like EWS) and not Race/caste/religion, we in modern century will always prefer education if we have good financial conditions....
