Communication also creates opportunity, which can be pursued by skills. Both skills and communications are crucial.
Even companies have PR and HR Teams for communication, and marketing to hai hi. Communication is crucial for both, jobs, as-well as individual careers.
Of course, there are people who have reached places, just based on their skills, but they are the exceptions, not the rule.

Honestly i have watched tons of yt videos and classes on yt for public speaking... It's not that we always want to be on stage but even in general to practice if I'm feeling ok with speaking. Ashneer is saying most of the successful are introvert yes but its not really for introvert who are clear in mind but for people who get anxious and brain fogs up bcos of nervousness even in very general setting even in informal meets. One thing that I disagree with your show that why you take only big or international school students into this show. There multiple students who are studying in state boards in small schools. But still they're running good start up business and earn Better than these students. Don't think that international school or big education institute students are best in whole things. They are good in teaching but in other side some of students are also have good ability. You should also give chances to them for pitch their idea. And some time they prove wrong to you.
Probably some of the school money is channeled towards this initiative. I don't think, govt/state schools could afford the money.

Public speaking in todays day and age is a very important skill that everyone must learn irrespective of the profession he is in. Public speaking is an art that can be learnt over time with practice.
In my opinion, Yavisht needs to define a line between communication skills and public speaking skills. You don't use public speaking skills on a date or in an interview.

I kind of felt that the first product - SpeakEZ, actually had a good potential in-terms of usage and problem solving. There are communities all over india and across the world where folks from different age, background, feild join just to improve their communication and over-all delivery - it does not have to be focused towards becoming better at public speaking but becoming better at articulation and communication in general.
So yes, having a product which can help in the same manner has a good enough use-case. It can be monetized as well, the product could initially start as a freemium model and could later on add paid services.
A good example would be duo-lingo, grammarly.

I really don't know why people are criticizing these kids for coming from rich backgrounds (atleast they are doing something unlike you all)....Bharat is such a big country whether it be any kids who's trying something new regardless of the background should be encouraged rather than criticized.
I'm very happy that master union has started doing this type of videos which will hopefully inspire somebody to conduct these type of functions in other tier 2 and tier 3 cities.

Yess bro some of these pitches are really good and people keep criticizing them because of rich background, atleast they are not wasting their money but using it in making something good.
Yeah you are right man but the reason people are criticising them is cuz they are not pitching to ashneer solely by talent, to get this chance they are basically paying masters union a pretty hefty amount ig.

Brother the reason we are criticizing them is because of them being spoiled, not rich. Even middle class ka baccha bhi agar spoiled hota, usse bhi sunate.
Ye opportunity is very rare for these age group kids, and when spoiled kids come here, just to build there protfolios, and taking chance by someone who has genuine passion, of course we will be infuriated.
Not saying everyone here is spoiled, but lets be honest, with the exception of like 1-2, most of them are.
