The Ford Aspire has been around for the last five years and comes with the tried-and-tested 1.2-litre petrol engine along with the popular 1.5-litre diesel. The Hyundai Aura comes with a 1.2-litre diesel and petrol and also gets a 1-litre turbo petrol, which pumps out a meaty 100bhp. But which car is best? Here is the answer.

I have owned Hyundai i20 petrol and Creta 1.6 Diesel and taken test drives of both Aura and Aspire, I must tell Aspire is far superior product then Aura is.

Try 1 litre turbo of Aura. Aspire, Amaze, tigor are no match. I have just test driven those. Turbo engine is just a delight.

Too happy with ford aspire. After 4 years and 50000km it still feels like new one. And seriously after sales service is mind blowing. Service cost never goes above the price mentioned on company site. If you have any complaints service center guides you well whether you should spend money or its not needed. I have also used maruti Suzuki swift dezire. They literally cost too much at service. Think my service charge for swift dzire goes upto 17k 25k. I think i should have Mercedes in this service cost.

Mageswari Priya Depends how you negotiate.I purchased aspire titanium two years ago and on road price was 8.30 lakh after negotiation i got same at 7.70 and free floor mate by dealer.visit all nearest dealer in your area and compare the price.

Deal was done in 9.35 on road 5,6k more for finance file charge & some acessories
This is the BS4 version of Aspire that you have reviewed. In the BS6 version, Ford has downgraded a lot of features in Aspire. You don't even get a rear armrest. They have done a lot of cost cutting. Please use the latest vehicles for your reviews.
They have taken out arm rest because, driver is more susceptible to sleep

I'm driving Aspire 1.2 petrol past 2yrs and I love it.
Aura s interiors and cabin quality feel like a segment above aspire.. But Aspire is definitely better to drive..

Ford Ko afford karna bhi koi asaan nhi h than service ka issue maintenance and parts are also expensive overall aura is better option

@@jkinfovlogs you are wrong sir. I am using a ford aspire titanium petrol since 2017. And it’s servicing and maintenance cost are very low. It is myth that the maintenance cost of ford is very high and after sale service is bad. One can blindly go for aspire
Proud owner of aspire from 2017. I'm getting 28kmpl without ac in highways. Suspension feels like heaven.

@@MyVishal98 in highways you are a good driver you can get 16 km/ltr. In general roads you will get 15 km/ltr. But don’t compare with Maruti , because in terms of safety and engine it is way ahead of Maruti.
According to me Ford Aspire is better.
It has adjustable front headrest.
That is the part of safety.
If you want features, you go for the Hyundai.
But if you like to drive, and focus on outright performance, you get the Aspire. The diesel Aspire is SO fast that even a Hyundai Verna cannot keep up with it.

Be it design or performance Aspire is the best in the segment followed by Amaze. But dont compare this Aura. It can not match.Aura Design looks odd.I am using Aspire TDCI titanium for last 3+years ,in driving dynamics I feel it is even better than my Verna. I was happy with Chevrolet Aveo petrol sedan now I am very much happy with Aspire TDCI Titanium 2017 .The smoothest diesel engine with no vibration,silent cabin, can tackle any speed effortlessly.And mostly the steering of Ford..it really adicts.I am not thinking it to change it even after buying another car like 2021 Octavia.
Have done 65k plus km on my aspire diesel in last 3 yrs. This is probably the most powerful & superb vehicle in its segment. Have gone upto chitkul from Delhi , without any problem. Its actually a fun to drive car especially on Highways ..
Absolutely no need for rear ac vents in the Aspire ! I can assure you this being an Aspire owner.
The cooling is excellent and especially the throw from front AC vents can put most of the rear AC vent featured cars to shame. Heck the air blast to the rear seat at "MAX AC" setting (climate control) is such that it even matches if not betters cars with rear blower units !!
Not exaggerating, honest opinion after experiencing quite a lot of cars. Adjust the vents on the Aspire properly and all passengers will be happy during a hot day journey.

For 3 healthy adults say 75+ kg there is not enough shoulder room. You can adjust for short rides but if you ask me it is comfortable for 3 adults then my answer is No.

You are comparing a bs4 model aspire .. for your kind information BS6 aspire has no center arm rest , no chrome finished gear knob , no inner roof handling bar and now it comes with diamond cut alloy wheels .
and even no sync3 infotainment system
You forgot to mention about build quality....Aspire has got solid build quality...not sure how it's in Aura!!!

I'm really not satisfied with this review, since you haven't discussed about safety features. In score card also you haven't mentioned it. I think you want to push Aura a head, but for those who knows engines would definitely purchase Ford Aspire. King in every segment.

I have a 2015 petrol aspire trend model.. Done 80000 km without any issues just now did shimla, delhi narkanda with 6 people and luggage no power loss. Love my aspire.

Niyaz Nazar just booked a ford Figo titanium , yes that’s missing. But in the titanium blu you get it’s inbuilt sat nav system. But of course we Indians don’t want a car but want a smartphone which has a 10 inch screen so that we can watch money heist while driving ... who cares about fords expressive steering solid build, 100 bhp power and ride quality
See its a very bad omission... i own both figo and an ecosport... it was the best infotainment system.. u could get under 15L price point... and was a great usp too...
People dont always just go behind driving dynamics and powr all the time... but when u had already a great feature.. why to omit that...
Niyaz Nazar I don’t have top spec figo.. the blu variant has its own navigation isn’t it. And phone and voice command is there ,, it more or less replaces apple carplay android auto I think.
Do Hyundai have any plans to offer AMT on top variant of petrol? Or can I get cruise control in AMT petrol by paying extra.? Also can cruise control be retrofitted?
If petrol is what you are looking considering petrol cars demand is on the rise and deisel demands decreasing,,then AURA is in different league..With it's powerful 1.0 ltr turbo engine and decent dynamics you will love the car with better mileage then Aspire..Deisel mai go for Aspire..It's a lovely machine..

It is very unfortunate 😔 that you skipped the security issue which is very important factor to choose a car. The Aspire has 6 Airbags but still not mentioned a single time. This is not a unbiased review.

वैसे मैने औरा में फ्रंट सीट पर फिक्सड हेड रेस्ट आती है और aspire में ऐडजस्ट वाली आती है। औरा की जो डैश बोर्ड है वो रोड की vijibility कम करती है क्युकि इसका फ्लैट शेप है और थोड़ी उंची है जो कम हाइट के लोगों को दिक्कत करती है, गाड़ी चलाने में।
मेरे अनुसार तो फोर्ड सही है।

Definitely aura boss but as far as safety is concern go for ford.
Aura is an excellent product that deserves to lead the segment
If you want to go for looks go for Aura, If Performance is the criteria then Aspire.
Aura Pros: Control is very good even at higher speeds, Interiors good looking.
Aura Cons: Very bad seating comfort both front and rear for long drives, plastic quality is average, leg room is not adequate.

No comparison between Hyundai and Ford. Hyundai has better service and more service centers in Maharashtra...
Ford has only 16 service centers in overall Maharashtra, out of which 13 are in Mumbai. Does it mean, their cars are only for Mumbai based areas/roads? Hopefully, Ford is aware that Maharashtra is a state.

Aura is best built quality interior finishing, rear ac vent, no bump in rear, relaxed seat in rear, and ford Aspire is not even giving rear seats comfort, and rough finishing interior and theme missing, rear ac vent not available in top model also.....having a high bump in rear which is a big draw back
It seems you have driving experience of Hyundai AURA, I was planning to buy a car and I am a bit confused between aura and amaze. Can you please tell if AURA is worth buying, also ncap crash testing has not yet been performed on AURA, so will it be a good option?
@@kayt0972u hi Aman, both are good and similar but aura has better pilot and passenger seat comfort.....and mostly boot is good and in aura they gave d cut steering which is eaze to drive and amaze it's missing....but depends on if ur speed and drive enthusiast then u will like amaze and if ur looking for complete comfort family and sporty look then aura is best and less in budget when compared to amaze
