Seven years later, I still come back to this regularly. It was a good choice not to put it on the album, it doesn't fit anywhere. From the sound and the music, though, it's a really great bridge between the albums A Long Time Listening and Destrier. It's perfect as a standalone bridge.
In my opinion this is the perfect ending to album, despite being a bonus track.. the previous track fizzles out and isn't that satisfying, whereas this one builds up to the beautiful vocal hook at 3:30, then kicks you in the soul with that manic jazz chord sequence that closes the track... I've missed this band :)
+PairInstabilityType Really? I find that ending the album with a reprise of the drone from Let Them See Us was a pretty great decision. I can't figure out where on the album this song would belong.
3:30 is one of the most magical moments in music for me , and trust me I have heard a lot of things but this is just... This is pure exctasy mixed with meth on steroids... Simply a masterpiece
I feel like the whole song is building up for that exact moment of explosive euphoria and melody. It's gets me every single time. I sometimes feel a bit weary to put this song on when I'm with friends cause every time that part comes up I start doing some weird dramatic dance and lip-syncing (usually I sing but this is an exception) because it's so full of emotion. Can't help it. 😅
Fuck is there any way I can buy this track? It's not on Spotify anymore and I already purchased the record. I'd really like this particular track instead of always hearing it on TH-cam.. It's so brilliant
Interesting how this has not made it into the regular song selection - this song is brilliant, very fresh and catchy with those sexy drums :)
preisseldrums Yea, totally agree. :) It sadly doesn't fit anywhere on this record, I guess.
Omg, 2:07 is so awesome, just major instead of what you expect (minor)

@@6grandKids33 At the end. It's perfect there.

must have been pretty difficult decision cutting this from the album, it's great!
*poor
*great
Wasn't hard.
Masterpiece!! Thank you, guys!
fantastic! I have chills down my spine
Why isn't this one on Spotify? :(
I get Aphex twin vibes from the drums - I love this track!
Fucking amazing. Hope they put it on Spotify.
Are there two drum kits playing? xD
Their drummer has four arms and four legs :-)
It'll be multi tracked
No shit, sherlock :p
So I have no chance of getting this when I buy the regular CD? :( That's too bad I love the drumming it's sooo insane :O

Bandcamp!
Michael Hagerup It’s back on Spotify
Edit: Nevermind
Um, guys, why is this track not on my CD? :( sounds great!
interesting choice for a bonus track. waaayyyyyyyyyy better than "angst"!!
did you ever listened "Lightbulb Universe" from 2009?
Angst is a very important song in the whole album. This one doesn't fit into the emotional story of Destrier.
also angst gives dynamic to the album.
@@albertarason4502 very true. This is much more reminiscent of the first album
I wish they still made music
they are
Helvítis næsari!
Guys. I can see your Wait for me Remix in TH-cam. It's blocked in Germany. :(
All of them are extremely talented of course but there drummer slaps bruh. These break beats are nasty.
Imagine making this masterpiece and then just be like "nah, doesn't fit the album"
Fart rock bruh.
I would roast you, but you already literally have to tell people your name is michael dawson 😬
