Fun fact. In the Philippines, there are also variations of sign languages depending on geographical region. So a volcano is signed differently in two places.
Im in the middle of learning ASL i thought every sign language are the same 😭 I need to relearn everything for FSL.. although some signs are almost the same . Thank you for this. 😁
There's many different sign language, when I was junior high I met a important person that represented dead ad Hard of hearing. I'm hard of hearing used to hearing buy now I'm wearing cochlear. Anyways she taught me Britsh sign language, I was more fascinated by that one because it was soo different from ASL. There are also tribes as well that so make up there own sign languages as well and I'm sure there many more but aside from Asl, I know some British as well.
Independent as our Filipino is the one only in FSL new create.. we has differences 8 provinces unique sign language like tagalog.., that these deaf peoples natural visual non- fsl or non educated. I'm from bicol region.😜🤟
Lalo nyo lng nililito ang mga hard of hearing. Kung English lng din nmn ang words dapat yung ASL nlng. Nag kakaroon lng ng confusion sa mga tinuturuan. Hirap na nga sila lalo pa nalito sa FSL. Jusy saying
