Hanbin is a gem. Like his music production, ability to write and evoke emotion is amazing. Illa illa being his first proper comeback after everything had me weeping, he had been through so much and I was so happy that he bounced back. And cosmos reminded me of the letters IDs (fandom) sent during his hiatus and this was almost like a reply (as he did mention that the girl represented the fandom) it had me again emotional but more happy than anything. It felt like watching a kdrama and especially paired with the lyrics I couldn't help but feel proud and happy of how far he has come. I'd like to thank those who stood by him the entire time cause what he went through, a lot of people don't come back from.

The whole album is top quality stuff. His previous one - Waterfall - is in my top 3 albums of the year. I adore his voice and flow.

Cosmos's inst were made 10 years ago by sihwang (one of producers who worked on the song) he sent it to B.I and next day he returned with full lyrics. Thats why the song gives 80s 90s vibe. As much as i liked his music back in iKON, his solo music is on the next level i must say. Thank u so much for reacting to B.I i see u really paid attention to each song ❤

Hanbin is such an artistic genius I love this man and his work to no end. The main reason I stanned iKON was because of him since he produced 99% of their music and was my bias in the group.
He was the leader, main dancer, main writer, main composer, main producer, main choreographer & 1/2 of their phenomenal rapline (the other 1/2 being Bobby himself) + he's the youngest artist to win Songwriter of the Year & won 3 daesangs for Song of the Year (Love Scenario) + wrote 9 #1 hits (for multiple artists: iKON, BLACKPINK, Winner, Lee Hi & himself). He's an amazing artist and I'm glad he's back and stronger than ever as not only is he charting extremely well with his solo songs but his albums are selling quite well.
You definitely need to react to his previous album "Waterfall" & his newest one "Cosmos", they're both in my top 5 albums of 2021. I'd say start with Cosmos since it's newer & shorter.
interesting fact in illa illa chorus, he sampled his own vocals as a synth from Re-Birth chorus, the last track in the Waterfall album that also served as a dedication to his fans 😊
keep the fire alive is actually a remix or a mixture of both of his super incredible and addicting b-side tracks “flame” and “alive” . he mixed the songs and created a title that represents both songs. TALENT IS WHAT WE’RE TALKING ABOUT. SLAY HANBIN

oh my god thank you for reacting to B.I. I hope you check out his album WATERFALL and COSMOS if you have time. WATERFALL is very close to our hearts since it is his first ever solo album. His songs are very personal to him, things that happened to him during his hiatus (2019-2021). Plus all album proceeds from album sales to music sales, content revenue, copyright, royalties will entirely be donated to poor women in South Africa. B.I is really an all-rounder and he's not contained in one genre. He reads all kinds of books, watch movies or drama to get inspiration, he listens to all kinds of music but he admits to loving The Beatles the most, his fave song of them is 'In My Life'. He's also very hands on when it comes to the production of his music, us fans, actually jokes that Hanbin (B.I) is his own genre coz he pretty much can produce a song regardless of the genre. I love how you reacted to his videos & I agree that reading the subs do split your attention from really appreciating the song & the music production.
