brother you have mentioned mlc as an imo convention but actually mlc is a convention from ilo, nice videos content is really helpfull.thank you for your efforts.
Hi! Thanks for the video! Very informative. Can you kindly explain on how does IMO ensure that all convention rules are carried out by each country on their ships?
Some are carried out through Port State Control. It is when a Foreign ship arrives at a port, the port nation inspects it to ensure the ship is in compliance with IMO rules and regulations. PSC are unannounced prior.
IMO does not have powers to enforce. It always urges the member states to come forward and work together in cooperation. Enforcement lies with flag states and port states.
Nihal Sir can u please make a video on emergency procedures on board like in the incident of collision, grounding, MOB, etc... And ThankYou so much for all ur videos. It's helping alot....helping in studies as well as for preparation of cadet interviews of shipping companies as I am in a maritime academy persuing B.Sc Nautical Science
1-How to prepare bridge for departure 2- explains in detail or make separate vedios of - ISPS, solas, mlc, stcw, marpol. 3- most importantntly MOB exact answer in a correct sequence what you should do, guys have failed in their oral because some examines want alarm first, some want hard over, or throw mob lifebouy or call the captain,, i want a answer so that I can backup my answer whether you take bpg or iamsar or whatever but make a nice correct vedio
shubham mishra IMO is now responsible for more than 50 international conventions and agreements and has adopted numerous protocols and amendments. (This is what is given in the IMO site ,check under conventions ) I have checked. This is it.

They do it by carrying out surveys
Surveys must be done by member states
Some are carried out through Port State Control. It is when a Foreign ship arrives at a port, the port nation inspects it to ensure the ship is in compliance with IMO rules and regulations. PSC are unannounced prior.
