That’s learning
If you lower the headache rack almost flush with the cab it reduces wind noise and improves fuel economy. You can still rack stuff and not hit the cab. Looks good
@@wesleymadsen4357 not for rednecks is branch catcher.
Oh, I love it!
I’m glad you love it thanks for letting us work on it!!
Going to be out your way in a couple weeks, coming from Pgh Pa in the toyhauler with a adv bike inside. Great riding all around the area. Hope you got a t-shirt and a hat I can buy.
Me, too!
@@keithallen3119get stuck & buy a recovery.. you'll get a t-shirt no extra charge xD
So Blue Is called Blue Steal because you got a really good deal on it at the dealership? Good eye Jamie.
Buys Harley: We'll drive it home. Nope . Buys 57 Chevy: We'll drive it home. Almost nope. Buys Corvair: We'll drive it home. Nah, let's trailer it. Wise choice.
They only do this so ppl on the net don’t go crazy when they redo it 😅
Don't forget about the charger. How much fun they had driving that back 😂😂😂
So Negative
Without brakes, I think the driving idea was to add a bit to the video with no intention of driving it to Matt's. I think Robbie is more responsible than to purposely risk the safety of his children's parents not to mention the hazard to the public.
The only way this would have been better is if you had trailered the corvair with blue steel!
That's a nice solid-looking Corvair, all original as well.
If the boss wants a '72 Bronco then the boss should get a '72 Bronco!
Agree 100% she puts up with all these guys and their toys, let her have it.
I think Robbie is just trying to make it more of a surprise, and knows she deserves what ever she wants for vehicle.
Robby isn't a Ford guy, Hillbilly is. Robby probably thinking Blazer
Well, She is the voice of reason... hmmm and She wants a classic Ford Bronco 🤔
@@DB-yj3qc lol lol lol...
Robby, your parents deserve a giant THANK YOU for raising you right.
Finally, Matt has something that isn’t stuck in a basin!
Looks great
That's it, I'm calling it! You all have the best family of friends and the most enjoyable videos on the internet!
Thank You for sharing your expertise, quality workmanship and generosity with all us fans. 🤗❤
It is so rewarding to watch you all as a family that is what America is missing. Robby you and Matt, Paul, Chad, and Rory, and all of your families just work so great together. Keep up the awsome videos.
Glad the Corvair is appreciated! It'll be happy at Matt's place! Wish I could've finished it up, but sounds like it'll have an adventure in St. George
Don't be sad 😢
She's going to a good home.
I wonder if Robby will paint it for Matt down the road? Let's hope so.
You tube pays really well
@@TrevorDennis100 God please no !! Clear coat And leave it !! Don't go ruining this work of art by painting it that terrible color Matt loves so much !!! 🙄💯
I'm glad Blue Steel didn't attempt that sand hill from yesterday.
Blue steel looks awesome! The Corvair is beyond! Matt is in Heaven! Thanks Robby and team! Thank you for sharing! 😊
My wife and I visited Robby, Fab rats, & Matt's off road last year. My wife still says Robby is her favorite every time I watch one of his videos.
Matt had done so much for the community it’s super nice for you to do something for him. Good friends have good hearts.
Glad the Wrecker is back at Matt's shop, out of the sand.
Robbie is a humble man who runs a successful business. His boss is tolerant of his adventures and even encourages him along. You better have her grocery getter parade car in the driveway soon.
He was so happy with the Corvair lol it totally overshadowed the truck! Thats friendship right there!
Blue Steel looks great. Can't wait to see what you do with The Bombi. And something tells me you are already working on getting Demri her Bronco, so I look forward to seeing what y'all do with that as well.
I second that notion
You're so kind. You and your crew put a ton of work and extra touches into Blue Steel AND you picked up a Corvair for Matt! Wow.
Great video guys.....What ever happened to the big theft of your brothers equipment ?????
I love what Robby and crew did too the Blue Steel. Great job.
As usual, Robby Layton has done it again! He-set the bar high and cleared it again!! because Robby is just that darn good!! He cleared it in one fell swoop!!
I love how they all love eachother
I couldn’t afford to live in Ephraim, but those condos look nice.
Robby and his crew did a great job with Blue Steel and getting Matt his Corvair. Can’t wait for the next video to drop.
Blue Steel looks absolutely stunning...great job Robby, Hillbilly and crew...
Matt was flabbergasted with that Corvair....gteat video. Get the Boss a 72 Bronco...
Looks like he got the wrecker out of that hole they drove down the other day 😂 Blue steel looking pretty good! I’d like to see dual wheels on the back of it. Great work!
Good of you to fill the tank for Matt, cuz we know he'll forget. 😂
Blue Steel is gorgeous! Nicely done! Super cool gifting Matt a Corvair Monza. No doubt he enjoyed receiving such a meaningful gift, since he drove one in High School.
Yeee....
Haw......
They need blue steel to get out the heavy wrecker out. 😮
This group of friends is pretty awesome! @Matt's Off Road Recovery
I called it.... I had a feeling it was going to be Corvair related, like an engine, but did not expect a whole car.
That ending was perfect.
What a beautiful upgrade to a true hero truck, hauling Matt's fleet of recovery rigs for hundreds of miles. I'm happy to see Blue Steel get the love she deserves!
And what's the deal with people calling it "Blue Aluminum"? Guys, they didn't switch the Superduty body to aluminum until 2017 when the current gen started.
GOOD JOB EVERYONE!
Your a good man and a good friend God bless you brother
Robby y'all made Matt's day when you did that and y'all are Awesome and it is cool to have friends like that. And y'all have a wonderful and fantastic and awesome and great and blessed Labor Day weekend
Blue Steel looks amazing!!!! You all did a great job on it. You all are the kindest most giving folks. Matt is going to love the Corvair project.
That is a beautiful car. Matt will really enjoy fixing it up. When he gets through all his building, maintenance and new shop build. You guys are so busy !
So Robbie...you know you done good when you get 2+
"Holy smokes"
From Matt...BTW
BLUE STEAL looks amazingly AWESOME
Here's a great idea for a video: go down to Moab, and give Trailmater the same detail job you did to Blue Steel! It would be hilarious, especially if you did it without Rory knowing! It would freak him out to see his truck all shiny and sand-free!
Blue Steel is a master piece. We'll done!🎉
You guys are awesome, these are true friends, unlike that other guy, who claimed to be…
How Robby doesn't have a million subscribers is a mystery. This channel has grown and surpassed expectations due to the great content that anybody can get into. Robby is a natural in front of the camera and the crew seems to mess like Peas and Carrots. Don't worry my name is Forrest so I am allowed to say that.
Probably because of his clickbait. Not a single tear in this video.
I just love to see all of you guys giving back to your communities - and each other. Your success is contagious!
If I was Matt I would extend the front light panel out to allow the front passenger and driver some leg room without compromising leg space for the crew in back. And it wouldn't need to be massive just about 12/14" would make a huge difference., leave the windshield and door frames as they are.
Well done sir..well done indeed!👍👍😁
That is so cool- your Corvair gift to Matt as well as seeing his 'new' Blue Steel. I think the old high school memories choked Matt up, almost to the point of not seeing Blue Steel. As usual, the Layton team knocked this one out of the park!
Nice thing you give presents to other people!👍🏻😉
Love it! Awesome work guys! Matt deserves it!
I love this type of insane 'get it back on the road' videos.
Demri is not only cute as she can be. She can also drive a truck and trailer. That was awesome of you to give that Corsair to Matt.
There are a lot of pretty women here the grow up driving truck and can pull trailers just fine. I sure she can drive the new 1972 Bronco just fine I just hope that Robbie doesn’t sneak an LS in it.
Robby you guys are the best! You do so much for Matt ! He owes you so much more !
The best and safest way to tap into the fuse box for an accessory is to use a Fuse Tap Block.
You remove a higher fuse (25A) and install the block. The block has a slot for the original fuse to be placed. It also has another slot for the accessory fuse (lower than the original fuse (10A) and a wire to go to the accessory. this way the original fuse clip is not stretched by putting the extra metal in the slot.
You are a good friend. All of you guys really take care of your own. What a great community of builders and fabricators.
Robby, you're such a good guy! The family that's been created from all the collaborations in the automotive field, the things you all do for each other is amazing! This is why we watch, to see the interactions with one another! Fab Rats, Matt's Off Road Recovery, you Robby Layton, Merlin's Old School Garage, etc. There are too many to mention, but you all know who you are! Keep up the great content that keeps us coming back. Til next time, take care, and we'll see you all on the next...
Hey Robby !!!! High Fives on the ""Corvair "" & ""Blue Steel "" !! 🙂🙃😉😊👍👍👍👍👍
Robby.. I think I had something in my eye too. Very Nice To Have Great Friends!
Get your lovely wife her Bronco. Happy wife, happy life.
20:40 So, you mean to say it's not "Blue Steel" but rather "Blue Steal" because you got a steal of a deal? 🤣
I was just in Matt's yard and saw this corvair. Awesome job
Any color you can get in paint. You can get it in Powder Coat.
Well done all!
Truck came out great and the powder coating match is spot on but I just can’t with that headache rack, it’s aweful. 🤷♂️
You, man, do good work, beautiful job folks. If matching removable rail system would look nice.
Blue-Steal looks amazing. Outstanding job.👍
P.S.
You better get started on that '72 Bronco.
You're a good friend Robby!
Awesome delivery of the Blue Steel and the Corvair back to Matt..
Awesome gift and the Blue Steel couldn't look any better. I love that you all take great care of each other.
Because of the condos I looked up where Ephraim is. It's north of Salina. Have you ever eaten at Mom's Cafe? If not, you must! Great breakfast! I've traveled through and stayed in Salina a couple times and it's great. Love the videos, Very cool of you to buy the Corvair for Matt. keep up the good work. Be safe!
Great surprise Robby.
I love all the Utah TH-camrs humbleness and willingness to help each other out
LOVE all you do.. A great team, and a wonderful job with everything you do. A beautiful , wonderful family and the best friends ever
Blue Steel looks great and the corvair is icing on the cake. Nice gesture Robby.
Have a great Labor Day weekend, you guys deserve it.
Thank you very much Gregor!!!!
Robby and Crew...is Rory still going to build your old 1930's off-road recovery wrecker for you like you guys planned?
I wish I had friend that care enough to buy something even small but something I would actually like
The front bumper looks a lot better and the entire truck of course.
Really nice job on Blue Steel, Robby & team! Well done. The Monza gift is just a hoot. Fun to see Matt's reaction to it!
Love Jocko very well spoken as always sir!🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
The only thing missing was a Bro Hug between you 2. Ty for sharing & caring
Well that's a double awesome, have a blessed week amen.
Your good people fella
I like the bald guy and Steve they don't cut hillbilly no slack 😂😂it's hilarious to me
You guys are really good to other people; makes these channels special...
Robby, you do such incredibly beautiful work! Words are inadequate to describe. On top of that, you have a very good heart. Demri adds so much goodness to the videos. Her little laughs add so much. One of these days I gotta come and see your shop. Keep up the amazing work!
Robby and team you did a really great job a blue steel. Also love the corvair gift.
I’ve got a flatbread Ford myself. That’s a great looking truck!
It's always good to have friends which have friends which have friends who know a friend's friend. That's how stuff gets done! 😁😁😁
Blue Steele looks SHARP! Ya'll did a fantastic job on it
Beautiful job. You are a great friend.
Hillbilly is fistbumping because he is excited for Matt
Blue steel looks great, Just missing a center hub cap on drivers rear wheel.
Perfect gift!
AINT GOT NO GAS!
LOL
That Corvair so reminds me of my first car in 1978, it was a VW 1600 Variant Fastback.
I reckoned it was older than my 17yo when I got it, free from my uncle instead of him having it crushed.
But everything on the Corvair is exactly like my old 'Galloping Gerty'. You didn't so much steer her as aim her down the road, and hope.
I have so many fond memories of everything that went wrong with old Gerty back then, me so totally wet behind the ears.
You are a fine example of how to treat your friends and family. Thank you for sharing with us. I am blown away at how great your channel is.
Just want to acknowledge how easy you guys make it look but most of us know how much is done behind the scene so to speak…modern vehicles are full of chips and stuff and it’s just not Robby’s paint job looks so pretty
Always going the extra mile Robby, you are the MAN
Lol that’s a true rat mobile. No head liner, rusty as hell. I love it. Blue steel looks great also, y’all did great job on fixing that up.
Matt says I don’t know what I’m gonna do with the Corvair but I want it . Priceless!
Oh my God it's BEAUTIFULLLL!!!!
Blue Steel looks good.
