Great video on data engineering! As a data engineer myself, I appreciate the insights and explanations provided in this video. It's so important for companies to have a strong data engineering foundation in order to effectively manage and utilize their data. The discussion on data pipelines, ETL processes, and data warehousing was especially informative. Keep up the good work!

Data Engineering has been a blessing in disguise for me. I come from a Statistics background and the 1st job that I got is in Data Engineering. I had no clue what I'm doing for the 1st few months. But gradually this work grew on me. I started to find my work interesting. So ya, after 2 years I can say I see myself on the path of Data Engineering and I'm eager to learn more.

Thank you so much for the explanation and clarifying. Great Job!!!! I moved from Accounting and finance to Business Analysis and Data Warehouse 12 years ago, I worked with lots of different data transformation and migration (ETL) running SQL in MS SQL Sever, Oracle and Terradata. I believe I am more in Data Science but Data Engineering also fascinates me. I want to learn more about. my learning curve should be small. Lots of banks in Canada are asking for the specialization.

I have been gaining knowledge in this DE field for a quite few days and I always hunt for best free/affordable resources for learning anything new. And I also no 1 perfect course or resource in any feild for everyone. And I also got to know that the line between a SWE and DE is getting blur. DE can turn more of a daya analyst and data architecture engineer because of no ETL process but still it has a good solid years to stay as more as it is now. I am so much interested to make my transition into DE. And I got know about this book recently, this book will be very useful for the people who are really interested to get into DE. I am a regular follower of you! You always brings up useful content 🙌 💛. Liked this video👍

As developers most folks just focus on the developing the requirement using whatever tool they are told to use or they are confident working with. But as you mentioned in the video it is very important to understand the end user's requirement and also how the data is actually generated from the source. This could have a significant impact in designing the data pipelines in an optimized way so that they are not only able to do the task required but are also tuned for optimal performance.

Interesting!! @DarshilParmar... being in the #dataengineering field for past almost 5 years, I've realized how crucial is to stick to fundamentals especially as now I am giving interviews for past 15 days! Although back then, this term 'Data Engineering' was not so famous, and we used to multiple roles like DBA, ETL Developer, BI Developer (I started as one!), the core fundamentals are really very important.
My favorite part from this has be to understand how the DATA is generated! Because otherwise we'll only be working superficially with any data in my opinion! Thanks for sharing this @DarshilParmar!! 2nd favorite part would be how important it is for dataengineers to understand the business in order to deliver better!
