Great video! I was looking into getting the Data engineer certification for AWS that’s coming out. I come from a computer science background but no experience in data engineering specifically, but I’ve been more and more interested in learning and getting into that field. What’s your take on what the timeline may look like on starting with the Cloud practitioner cert and then eventually getting the Data Engineer cert from AWS? I already understand it will take a good amount of time but would love to hear your opinion on how long it might take.

Hi Darshil. Thank you so much for posting this helpful video.. I have a doubt on Databricks Data Engineer Associate certification. How do I get a Databricks cluster for doing hands-on? The course description says Databricks Community Edition cannot be used.
You can use Azure Databricks, they provide 14 days free trial, prepare it in two weeks on cluster
I have done this certification already. I managed with the community edition itself. There were around 8 chapters and for chapters after 4th one all the exercises needed premium subscription. So I just did theory and just looked different hands on videos to imagine how it looks and works. Most imp thing is, make best use of practice paper provided by Databricks to judge and estimate on what level of questions are asked and till what depth you need to study. Practice paper is exactly like original exam with 70% of similar questions only.
PS: I had 2years of working experience with Databricks.

i have a doubt, these certifications have validity of 3 years. Lets say we give aws cloud practitioner and then data engineering. Then after 3 years, do i have to give both the exams or should i continue with only data engineering.
Does snowflake provide only data warehousing service or any other data processing services similar to databricks ? I have completed Microsoft and Databricks data engineer certifications and wanted to see adding snowflake skill set will add any value or not

You can do the same training on Udemy and then schedule exam
