I found playing with a half set (or less) helps make decision making easier.
Also, I use Shot Scope H4 - no caddie. My buddy uses Golf Pad - has caddie. Golf Pad caddie kept telling to use the same club no matter the distance. These things require a lot of data to be useful.

LOL… Wow. This was great… AI vs. TH-cam golf by The Muppets = Instant Classic. I think it would also be interesting to see if a whole season’s worth of golf would change the AI to tell you to layup on that last one. Then again, the idea of choice, being creative with different types of shots, comfort, etc are all part of it. Love it Mark! Nothing but wins in this video!!!
I'm new to arccos. 2 rounds in so far I'm very impressed for the most part only problem is my phone battery went from 98% to 0 in 17 holes

I wish my Arccos Caddie was as accurate. It seems to advise 5W every shot. Par 5 = 5W/5W/5W. Par 4 - 5W/5W. Par 3= 5W. 100M out = 5W. 50m out = 5W. I think it thinks I've only got one club! 🤦🏻♂I asked Arccos. Their support was great, but they said "erm, let us check your logs, and we'll get back to you." But didn't. Shame. Very good tool. 26-2
curious how many rounds you have with Arccos at the time you played this round, just wondering how much data it had to inform the AI algorithm?
Cleary Arccos needs a mode for "Are you sure you really want to do that?"

My arrcos club recommendations is crap. I could be 150 out which shows me to hit a 4 iron but also says my 4 iron average distance is 190? So I hit a soft 7 and it’s perfect…..
The problem was the AI said to lay up because statistically you were more likely to birdie or par the last hole. You overrode the AI and cost yourself the match.
I think you need an AI for fashion tips ... your golf is fine

I've been a Arccos user for almost 3 years. The Smart Caddie is rubbish. It is shockingly bad considering how good the rest of the product is. Off the tee it often recommends clubs beside by driver, even though my driver is one of the few clubs in my bag that is positive strokes gained.

Come on Mark. Don’t sell yourself out. Arccos is poor- misses shot. The link doesn’t detect shots.pricey sensors stopped working after a couple of months. Enjoy the great outdoors and leave your phone in the bag.

I use the watch so can choose to use phone if I want to
I love the out doors and have no issue with my phone.
Every device I have used misses shots and requires a lost round edit.

Look... another clown tags AI to a product. There is no fing AI. It is statistical analysis. It requires ten rounds before it even has a chance at providing feed back. That is not AI. You stick to golf, and leave the real world computer science to people like myself.
