My guy so down to earth 💯 when I come to Louisiana definitely want to meet you. It's all about what you want, like, and can afford F... what others have to say.
To keep the belt from spinning put a 1/2” longer ratchet and socket on the crank bolt or alternator bolt and hold it while you are turning the super charger pulley bolt and it will hold the belt while you get the bolt out
By the way love your videos bro! I just bought a 2021 300S 3.6 all black and blacked out interior and badges. I started researching ripp and came across your videos. Love the content and keep up the good work man!
Yeah I’ve heard a ton of ppl say they fail prematurely and they finally got me so I’ll be recommending folks stick with OEM coils from now on. My car’s running great with the OEM ones. Gonna have my tuner look over some data logs and give me a better idea of how it’s doing
It was the Ripp Coils. I won’t necessarily say anything bad about the brand but I’d recommend Sticking with either the stock coils or look into a brand other than Ripp. They did well but definitely failed prematurely I’d say
I got a 22 V6 AWD and wanting to ripp supercharge mine once more warranty expires. Any major issues? And also I've been hearing good things as far as gas mileage, as long as you're not flooring it you're gaining one to three MPG have you noticed anything in that area also?
That’s what I did too bro, waited for my warranty to expire. I’ve put right at 40k miles on it and I’ve had too minor issues. One was not knowing the setup needs two oil catch cans so I had some blow by in my oil filter and the other was a coil pack that went bad prematurely. Other than that it’s been perfect and yes there’s an upside to the fuel economy. I’ve been getting between 35-40 mpg on the highway at 70-75 mpg so I can’t complain about that lol
