Shore Fishing In Cabo San Lucas! (Crazy Catches)

Took a fun trip down to Cabo Mexico and of course, I had to bring the trusty Ugly Stick (TSA ended up taking it on the way back). Explore some of the shorelines and came up with some crazy cool-looking fish. I even kept some to eat! Unfortunately, I came very underprepared in terms of tackle and rod strength therefore I'm pretty sure I lost a few snappers but nonetheless it was fun. Enjoy!

I have a 5 piece diawa ardito surf rod rated 2 to 6 oz......fits in checked luggage. Paired with a big 6500 diawa saltist with 500 yards 50lb braid, 60 lb mono topshot
Im also have a 8 ft 6 inch 4 piece fenwick rated 10 to 20 lb, 1/4 to 1 oz . Paired with a fin nor inshore 5000 with 300 yards of 30lb braid 30lb mono topshot
I can pretty much fish for almost anything from shore with these 2 setups.....plus i bring a heavy diawa Saltiga 3 piece 7ft 4 rated 80lb braid as a boat rod when i charter fish, the big 6500 saltist is perfect for this, plus i have a penn VI spinfisher with 80lb braid 80lb leader for the boat rod if were going really heavy
