Another instance; Billy Kidman botching a shooting star press on Chavo Guerrero (breaking Chavo's nose with his knee in the process) and slowly turning him heel on Paul London because Kidman didn't want to hit the shooting star press again, even thought London wanted him to do it. Even though Chavo was never meant to get injured in the first place and it was all an accident, Kidman ran with it and made it into a storyline after the fact.
Also a very funny moment in Bullet Club vs Top Rope angle on Chikara show, if I remember correctly, they even gave the top tope a Triple Superkick at some point
The premise that as a audience we have a say on who main events sounds good and maybe be somewhat true with most of the promotions, but I’d argue not with WWE. They have to be forced into it. There’s just too many examples of the WWE ignoring what we the fans want to see.
The Bucks get a lotta heat for just doing moves , and not selling . Matt sold his back like crazy! For months ! Maybe cause it was really hurt . IDK. I think their shtick is pretty stale now , but back in the day , PWG stuff was great at the time ! I think (and maybe its just me) fans are now ready for more realistic wrestling that makes more sense again . Nothing wrong with a few matches on a show doing crazy highspots , i love that too . But The overall tone should be serious promos , serious wrestling . Brian , Punk , MJF and FTR for example have done that great s of late . Its no Crockett 80s or AJPW early 90s , but a step in the right direction
